Hey Cats,

I wanted to chime in as well.  From a Lute to a Cat, GREAT SEASON.  The journey was great and you represented the West with class.  Congrats and we will do this all again next year.

Good Luck, God Bless...

WC11-Nice post.  Wish I could have been at the game and I agree with yesterday's game should have been the Nat'l title game.  I listened to the game and didn't miss a down.  Two great teams battled to the very end.  Good year for the cats.  They had a solid team.  Thats all I got.

So, anybody know much more about this trip to Austria?  I heard the announcers talking about it yesterday.  The Cats are apparently going to play a football game in Europe???  Anybody got info?

wyd,

Thank you for the kind sentiments.   This fan needs some serious r and r time to wind down before even looking at next season.  A  Lute Wildcat matchup is always an exciting game.  With the buzz I'm hearing about your new stadium a foot might we be playing in Frosty Stadium anytime soon?  I wish you great success in getting that project underway.

A guy in my gym in Vancouver played on the Lute Nat'l Championship team in 99.  First name Chuck is all I know.
Fine fellow indeed and yet another who has fared well under Frosty tutelage.

It's hard to believe that it is all over for the Wildcats this year....and what a great year it was.   Have we ever seen a better Wildcat team? And to think that wasn't enough to get the job done was even more frightening.

Some random thought after 10.5 hours of driving and getting home. Great to see the posters from the board I had met before. It was great to meet new folks and put some faces with board names.

That was probably the single most exciting game I have ever seen and I have seen several UOP / San Jose State games where both teams scored in the 40s. They don't even hold a candle to yesterday.

The guy I brought to the game was very impressed. Said Elliott and Allen were incredible, Haze is a tremendous athlete and it is obvious the Cats are very well coached. I think we have a new Cat fan.

Justin Beaver is the real deal. He has strength in that little frame and those legs never stopped moving. Good luck to the Warhawks.

I actually got to attend 3 Linfield games this year. Thanks 11 for the text updates when I couldn't attend or listen. A big thanks to all the cyber fans that I listened to the games with. It is always fun because the coaches, players and fans are all so great. Looking forward to next year.

Great season Linfield.  I did not believe that anyone would take Linfield but UW WW is better than I thought they were.  They beat us but it surprised me that they beat Linfield.  At least you played them better than we did.  Hopefully, we'll see Linfield next year.   A little more of a running game and you guys win, as I see it.  From what I saw, which is only two or three games, I believe George Carter was a better receiver than Casey Allen.  Carter did more against us, at least.  Even though I lost some good money on you guys, no hard feelings.  See you next year.

I didn't get a chance to listen to the game yesterday, when I logged on to see the final score I must say I was shocked. Football is a funny game, sometimes the best team doesn't always win. Linfield is a class program all the way, congrats on a fine season to the players and their fans. I am sure Linfield will be back big time next year.

chewey...thanks for the comments. I'd have to dissagree with you on the receiver ratings. I tend to think Allen may be the best I'd ever seen as an individual... but as a team...this team may have had the greatest set of receivers from top to bottom as any I've ever seen. We have the potential next year to be very good also.

Sidebar....has anyone heard any rumors that Eric Ainge (Ten) or Gunderson (OSU) may transfer to Linfield this comming year? Just curious....

Let's hope Brett Elliott has started a Linfield trend. I too have heard rumblings.
