Big congrats to Brett Elliott from the PLU crowd. He's earned it on the field and off (from what I've heard) and represents the Northwest Conference very well.

Attaway!

Foss,
Great post my man.  I have been off of the board for awhile, just trying to cool down after seeing what we knew would happen at the WW game.  the NCAA needs to rethink the way they do things in this division.  Weather it involves the Cats or not--do it right !!

Congratulations to Brett Elliott and all the Linfield Wildcat fans!

(Does the name Elliott help your chances for the award?)  ;)

Congrats to Elliott and the Linfield football team on a great award.

This a great honor that BE brings home.   The second Gags awarded to an outstanding NWC football player (2000-Chad Johnson, PLU)

That is great!

Congrats to BE!!!! We'd all rather be there with him to watch accept the award and then defend the National Title, but it's a great award to a deserving player.

GHC, it's all about the weather at the Catdome,eh?

Poll 'Cats...IF...the Division III Championship game every year were in say, Dallas, how many of you would think of going?

A pity a sportsminded state like Oregon (OK, and Washington) are so isolated that if we are not in it to win it we are basically shut out.
Perhaps I'm mistaken and there are people who got a taste of Salem in '99 and '04 who have the time and w'w'all and are going to the festival. I'm just sayin'...

Congrats to Brett --- all of the Linfield faithful are proud of you and your accomplishments during the past two years.

You have made a tremendous contribution to a great program!

There was Elloitt and then the rest.  He played on a different planet than any other D3 quarterback.   The formal announcement only confirms what every one had known all season.

Congrats and best wishes.  It would be neat to see him take a snap in the NFL someday and remember the day our two teams stood toe to toe.

Congratulations to Brett Elliott on winning the Gagliardi Trophy and to the Linfield team. He deserved it.

DawgHeaven

Congrats from the SCIAC to Mr. Elliot.  If he would have stayed at Utah, and been the starter, would he have been a high draft pick like Smith?  We all know he has the skill.

BIG CONGRATULATIONS TO BRETT ELLIOTT!

That is just super. What a well-deserved honor.

If any of you haven't yet read his article in the Linfield Review from the link that Wildcat11 posted, I encourage you to do so.

QuotePat Cummings on the Immediate Thoughts On the Semis

Neither of these teams, in my opinion, can match the level of the Mount Union teams that won the Stagg Bowl, or the Linfield/St. John's units from 2003 and 2004. Again, this is coming from someone who has seen both play, two weeks apart, in the playoffs.

Why!!!!!! Thanks!
