Congratulations to Brett Elliott. He is a tremendous player and very deserving of the award. I have no doubt that he will be very successful at the next level.

Elliott winning the Gagliardi Trophy?

I'm sure it's true and everybody says it is but how did I miss the official announcement?  I'm not seeing it posted and couldn't even find it doing a Google search. Any suggestions?

It's the lead story on D3Football.com

Can someone explain how I keep my email address "hidden"  in my profile? Thanks.

Thanks guys.  I need to think outside the NWC box and the Top 25 site.
Since it wasn't there I appreciate your leading me by the nose to find it.  :)

Hot off today's News Register, Elliott wins the Willis Baker MVP award[/b]

Who can tell us who his famous son is who posts regularly on this board?

Is there any truth to the rumor that starting this year a walk of fame is being considered somewhere near the Catdome to enshrine each year's MVP starting with Elliott?

Congrats to Brett Elliot on winning the Gagliardi Trophy. One of the nicest looking trophies in any sport in the nation. I know the Cat Nation will be very proud. :D

If I said '64 do you think he would get mad at me?

Well, I've spent the better part of an hour trying to find an e-mail address for the newest winner of the Gagliardi trophy.  No luck.  Congrats to you, Brett Elliott,  for winning the Gagliardi Trophy which will be presented in the beautiful Commonwealth of Virginia that was very good to you and your teammates last year about this time.  Have a good flight in (Flights into Roanoke are usually rocky with all the mountains, ugh!!!)  Too bad you can't bring Chuck and the big Linfield flag with you!  If you get to stay through the game on Saturday, stop by Stone Station and you will get a hero's welcome, I can assure you.    And brownies too!!  And I see that you were 9th on the list of the Heishman trophy as well, 3 places ahead of my Marcus.  I believe you have a great future ahead of you!!  (By Saturday you will be on about a dozen more All-American lists, so well deserved, if I am any judge.  And that's what I do for a living--judge!!)

Congrats Brett Elliott  Gagliardi Trophy Winner 2005

Yes and about 100 other of us. If Brett gets to go with his family I trust it won't be too painful but that damn! thought will probably crust through his brain every now and then.

Damn!

Olinemom, Thanks for the nice posts these past couple of weeks! Sorry we wont be out to see you this week, but thats how the ball bounces sometimes. Enjoy the game and take good care of Brett if you get a chance to see him. He's a special young man with a great future ahead of him.
