I'll go back and see if that was called a pitch out.

               Mike Chaulk kick attempt good.

I remembered it incorrectly. Suppose I was so tramatized by the pass interference call that my brain refused to see any further.
I must have mixed up the Schmitt catch w/ Beaver.

Did anybody else catch that the Offensive Player of the Game for Utah in the Emerald Bowl was a former Wildcat? According to his bio Travis LaTendresse tried out for Linfield his freshman year but didn't play and transferred to Utah where he has started for the last three.

I would like to wish everyone a HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Coach C

I watched the gam, but did not hear that tidbit mentioned.  What a shame!

cawdad;
That's awesome! Thanks for posting that. If I had known a former Wildcat was playing I would have watched the game.  I wonder if the GT fans chanted " D3 dropout " everytime he caught the ball
(Re:Willamette game).  Congrats to Travis and the Utes.

Looks as if the Elliott for LaTendresse trade worked well for all concerned!

HA! I was thinking along those lines as well. :)

A big Karma point for you, Frank! :D  :D  :D

CAWDAD...too bad you could not have posted that tidbit a day earlier for surely you would have been in the running for post-of-the-year. (Yes, I know there is no such thing)  It would have hands down won the "Naw, don't dat beat awh." The irony is hilarious. Travis will always be a WILDCAT.

I am as confused as the next on the Las Vegas All-American Bowl participation by Brett on the 14th. Not listed on the roster as of today.

Too bad I jumped on Jet Blue tickets and free Vegas rooms so I am going. Any other fans want to?
Perhaps desertcat1 would travel up river for a day at the races at the meaningless game.

The rosters on the Las Vegas game site are from last season. I suspect they might not release a 2005-06 roster until the bowl games are done.

Pat posted before I did and he is right. The Bowl game roster is last year's.

Why don't you just create a D3football.com booster club...I think many of us could pop for 5-10 per month to help your travel costs?

I can't speak for Pat but I think the preseason preview has helped the finacnial situation alot.  I don't know how much money he raised from this but it had to be a help.    I think it ism also why it seemed that we got some more extensive coverage during the season and playoffs from d3football.com.  I bought the preview and never looked at it.  I just figured a worthwhile website was worth a small donation.  My guess is that I am not alone in this sentiment.
