Can't wait to attend a night game again.

BRING BACK THE BAND!
BRING 'EM BACK AND TURN 'EM LOOSE!

2 night games. I like that

WHAT??!!!  Willamette is NOT the last game of the season??? That is always such a CRUCIAL game and we've bumped it back to September 30th and replaced it with L&C??

Ugh! Man, that takes all the drama out of the final game.

I realize that the L&C switch was probably necessary in case they can't get their program running but still.  That just hurts.

It might add another dimension to the Whitworth game.

At least we'll be able to rest guys or get healthy for a playoff run if it's in the cards!

In the interest of putting the end to misinformation, Linfield did not move the Willamette game to October.   The Northwest Conference adopted a rotation of conference games a couple of seasons ago.

Swede--

I explained the simple mathematics in the post...

Five home games
Estimated 40 seats lost to the band
$12 reserved ticket price

Multiply the numbers

DuffMan

Looks like Linfield and SJU both have Sept. 9, 2006 open.  Let's lobby for a game!

A tradition unrivaled...
MIAC Champions: '32, '35, '36, '38, '53, '62, '63, '65, '71, '74, '75, '76, '77, '79, '82, '85, '89, '91, '93, '94, '95, '96, '98, '99, '01, '02, '03, '05, '06, '08, '09, '14, '18, '19, '21, '22, '24
National Champions: '63, '65, '76, '03

D O.C.

Repaint the numbers like the Rose Bowl. Scoot every body over one space. Add 40 more seats vertically on one end. ( Don't charge obese for two seats.) $12.00 Reserved seat. Multiply.

Pat:
Just read on their football web page that Lewis and Clark has listed their schedule as "Tentative".
So it may just be 8 games for Linfield. Hope not.

That's what I was getting at, yeah. I expect L&C will field a football team at some point this year but since Linfield is at the end of the season I remain pessimistic.

I understand.  I hope Lewis and Clark will play their full schedule this year.  I know they have a new coach this year.

WOW.......2 night games this next fall. Last night game was like '65 or '66. We had only been here a year or 2. I loved those night games. Coach  Durham in his fadora, what a class act!

We might need a tailgate practice before 9/9.

                             BRING BACK THE BAND!
Only at a D3 football game could you have 2 seats on the 50 yard line (2 rows behind bluenote) and have an obstructed view!
I love D3 Football!!!

Night games are special. I remember how much fun last year's Willamette game was. Brought back the memories of Friday night high school varsity games. Haven't been to the Catdome for a night game yet. Really looking forward to it.
