May your winter be mild and bearable when you get your copy of THAT GAME.

Thanks for the good karma, DenSLA,  Since my karma is negative, I can use all of it I can get!!  LOL!    Olinemom can karalize now.  I am sooo jealous!!!  Actually, the winter has been great!  23 days in a row of above normal temps!!  Of course,  that is relative, considering what "normal temps" in the midwest are in Jan!!

Can someone tell me how to go back and edit...I hate when I misspell words.

Try modify in the upper right hand corner.  Yep that's the way to edit

Tez, tuxguy accurately pointed out a few posts before that not every user gets access to the Modify and Delete buttons. Those are privileges earned with a touch of experience.

I wasn't aware of that. Nice to know. THANKS

Does someone have the start time for the Hula bowl this saturday? PST please! Thanks.
I need to plan my honey do list! LOL ;)
Only at a D3 football game could you have 2 seats on the 50 yard line (2 rows behind bluenote) and have an obstructed view!
I love D3 Football!!!

Ftballfan413 -just as soon as I can hit the applaud again, you will again be karmalized!!  I saw the nice note to Abby and I plan to donate as well.  Abby--I will send you an e-mail with my information, etc.  Somebody suggested that I send brownies to the pep band and I may do that as well, but somehow $$ seems to be what may help in the short run.  I spoke with the History Prof/Pep Band mentor who began our Pep Band several years ago.  He said that his budget from the Student senate and the adminstration was about $1,000--for t-shirts, music and some travel moneys for games near by.  You know, that really isn't a great deal of money. I would say there are usually between 22 and 30 students/faculty/alums who play at home games.  At away games there aren't as many--(well there are at the Hampden-Sydney game ;D), but they are still full of spirit.  The Pep Band has made up some cheer moments for after touchdowns and for every first down that have already become Bridgewater College traditions.  In fact, when the band can't be there, the rest of us try to keep up with those traditions because they have become rather vital to the fan base.
On another point, I would be glad to pay for the making of a DVD and the shipping of same of the Linfield / Whitewater game.  I didn't get to go, but I "listened" to the whole game on the postings after the fact even when I knew what the outcome was and it was the most exciting game, nonetheless.  Somebody please e-mail me re this if possible.
Bed, now.  I just got home from taking my football and baseball players and the other 5 people in the class to DC for the musical Les Mis (FANTASTIC!!!!!) and out to a great French restaurant in Georgetown.  And class looms again tomorrow at the crack of dawn, which for me means anytime before noon! lol
Oh, I almost forgot.  Having too many senior moments these days ;D   Just in case any of the football guys look over this site, I want to thank Casey Allen for giving me his autograph and thank Marcus Washington for being such a great guy for being willing to ask a team-mate for the autograph!!  I am redoing my office at school and am planning to have players' pics and autographs on the walls.  Life is too short not to showcase where your interests are  If anybody can get me a picture of the O-Line and their autographs I would love that as well!!  After all, I'm the O-Line mom and the glamour guys don't get anywhere without my guys in the trenches!!!  If anyone can help on this issue I would be happy as well.  I've got to start saving my pennies so I can come to see the CatDome.  How far is it from Seattle?  I have friends there.  Perhaps I could figure out a whole visit deal.  Now, bed for real!!

Hi Olinemom,
Thanks so much for the karma.  I know how important the support of UWW's band was to the great football season we had and they inspired me!  I am getting a copy of the Linfield/WW game so I can make you a copy and send it to you.  Do you still need a copy of the Championship game as well?  I made a DVD with the commercials edited out.  Bought a new DVD recorder for this purpose so I can send you copies of both.  I can make a tape or DVD depending on what you want.  It will only cost you a pan of those decadent Godiva brownies, LOL!!!  Just kidding.  Let me know!

Click on the Linfield game (for WU fans, click on the Willamette game). Old stuff, you've probably seen it. Elliott has that pro look going for him. Big crowd, nice day ... wish I could've made it.

Well since there are so many people interested in the Linfield pepband, I was wondering if I could  get a list from you folks of people who would like/be willing to donate funds or services to the cause. Also, if any of you are alumni and can get a hold of other alumni who would be interested in helping, please send their information my way. On another related note, I wil be playing at two games this weekend, the 20th and 21st. If any of you want to play at the game let me know and I can give you the meeting time and place.

Abby:
I want to contribute. I sent you an email for the details.
Thank you!

Hey WOUfan...that picture 65...what is that? Looks like our county fairgrounds.

Naw, thanks for the reminder of sunny days
BUT! I will remind you all that it DID rain on that September 10th.

Through the magic of TiVo and Directv, I burned a copy of the Las Vegas A-A classic from Saturday.    I took a half hour to watch the plays Brett Elliott was involved in....and he had a tough time as the stats indicate.   Made me appreciate the hard work he put in with Casey Allen, Keck, Haze and the others.....the timing routes weren't there, one guy clearly had a case of alligator arms on a slant, etc.

I'll keep it on my TiVo, but I doubt any of you would really want a DVD of the game.   Local guys, if you really want to see it....let me know and we can take an hour to watch it at my place.

Here,s another hit in the positive direction.  I always loved being in the band in high school.  I went to a girls' college so no football pep band, but I was in the band.  Then after college, they take band away from you.  what a bummer!!!  I'm still waiting for an address to send my contribution towards the band fund.

I would love a copy of the Linfield/WWW game and the championship game as well.  DVDs would be fabulous.  I wouldn't mind sending you some of those decadent brownies at all, but I do need a snail-mail address.  lol.  I'll e-mail you and send you my snail mail address as well.  Are you going to watch the Hula Bow game on Saturday evening?  I am, just to see Coach Brez in the Hawaiian shirt the coaches usually wear.  So if I do,  they'll probably just have regular jackets on.  Oh, well . . .  Hawaii  that would sure be nice!!  It is cold here although I shouldn't complain because it has been a really mild winter so far.  It sounds like it hasn't been too bad where you are either.  The only time I was ever in Wisconsin, it was in July.  And I was cold!!  My girld friend, Katie,  and I went out on a small lake near Green Bay where her family had a cabin and she tipped us over on purpose.  I thoght we had hit left-over glacier melt.  It made my bones hurt!!

Back to the grind-hah, I'm supposed to be grading papers.  You can see how well I'm doing that, now can't you?

WOUFan, thanks for the link. Great pictures. Do you know why the Humboldt games are not there? I have a former student who plays for the Lumberjacks and was hoping to maybe see a pic of him.
