Camcat,
I still think Tim Benzel is a better QB than RG from OSU. He along with shearer(sp) will be just fine. I believe those 2 would have started for many other teams. We are lucky to have them! ;D
Only at a D3 football game could you have 2 seats on the 50 yard line (2 rows behind bluenote) and have an obstructed view!
I love D3 Football!!!

Tuxguy,

Thanks for the reassurance.  I have heard that before but was not sure that Benzel was coming back.  Are you feeling pretty confident that he will return?

Hey all.  I know the ban on spring practices was lifted for D-III last year.  When is our spring practice?  I might actually go to a couple this year.

Watching the UPS video clip I noticed number 15 at quarterback for one play. Was that Trevor? Kind of snuck in there.

Last week I saw in our local weekly paper about a QB from Stayton area who went on to Montana and got an invite for the NFL combine.  They then listed a bunch of QBs who've  been invited to the combine and Elliot was one of them.  Is that true?  I thought he hadn't been invited...

Not sure how to create a link...may have to cut and paste into your browser.

Just a little blurb on one guys opinion of Elliot in the Hula Bowl.  Don't think this has already been posted.[http://www.nfldraftblitz.com/hulabowlreport.htm]

Good summary. I'm glad he pointed out that it was unfortunate they didn't let him play more in the 4th quarter. They let the DI guy start, let Elliott finish! After all, he appeared to be the best QB of the four, as this guy points out.
A packed student section behind an end zone cheering on guys they will actually see in class on Monday is almost as cool as The Streak.

Say hi to Brandine.

Nice to see ESPN catch back up to the story about Willamette and Pearl Harbor. Our own Tom Wilson wrote that piece for us in 2003 and it bears repeating:
