Which of the 3 Musketeers(Carter, Allen and Hazenberg) Linfield receivers do you like to watch play?  I'm going to start it off by saying I think they all have skills!  I  just like to watch Haze the most.  He does a lot of things when he gets the ball in his hands.  On film he looks quicker and he has a nose for the endzone.  Some guys run good routes, have great hands but there are select few that can do something after they catch the ball.  It is something you can't teach so when I see a player with that ability I get excited!

I'm sorry but I have to add Keck #29 to that mix of Linfield receivers.  So I will change it to the Mt. Rushmore of 03, 04, 05 Linfield receivers.  Wildcat11 brought him to my attention and I should have known better because he is from Puyallup, WA and they have produced some great WRs in high school football for the past 20 years.  No disrespect to Keck or anybody else.  I just wanted to put it out there to see what other people had to say on the topic.
Spirit86 it was a honest mistake and it's all good now.  Hopefully they will give Brett some snaps in mini-camp so they can see he can play.  A lot of times the 3rd string and beyond barely get a chance to show anything.  But let's pray Brett gets to showcase in preseason early on.

Of the big four - Brad - Haze - Allen - Carter... I most enjoyed watching Brad... he was tough, never went down on the first or second hit... caught everything thrown his way... ran over people and if he was going down he looked to punish people... great blcoker... great runner between the tackles... he was overlooked because of the others but on most any other DIII team he would have been the go to guy...

Will Master's be healthy for 2006?  I had high hopes for him after 2004 but it seems like he has a serious leg injury that isn't healing... my hopes would be to have him, Vierra, and Kaluza plus someone else who steps up... that would be a very good crew for Benzel to throw to... is Thomas back?  if so, will someone please tell him to head North and South not East and West when he catches the ball....

Thanks RedandPurple.  We're all excited to see Elliott get a contract here on the left coast but for Casey to score one in Winnipeg is frosting on the Wildcat cake.

I'm starting to get the fever already and it isn't even summer yet.

Wildcat11,

We'll look for your video tomorrow on BE's KGW signing interview.  That came after my bedtime last night as I'm starting to follow Ben Franklin's admonition of Early to Bed Early to Rise.....

Nice to see BE and Casey sign on with someone. Good luck to them both

Congrats to Brett and Casey......they will be great ambassadors for Linfield on the field in the future.  Let's pray that we see both of them in the future on Sunday playing pitch and catch just like at the Catdome.  Go get 'em guys and show the nation that "tiny Linfield College" (as the Hula Bowl commentator could not get over) has a mighty fine football legacy!  The Catdome Nation will be there pulling for you every time you step on the field!
LEAVE NO DOUBT

Major congratulations to Brett and Casey.  Linfield fans can be very proud of them as well as the rest of us connected to D-3 football.  It has been a real treat to watch and root for them as they navigate their post collegiate football careers!  One of my favorite sayings seems to apply here.  "He who endures, conquers!!"  Keep working, boys, and the best of luck in your endeavers!

Want to be made even more angry about the draft/or possibly glad that you follow d3? Go to Oregon live and read the article on Demtrius Williams. Ungrateful comes to mind.

Can't find the article you mention on DW and the search function doesn't return anything. A little help?

I'll add my congrats to Elliot, though I'd hoped he'd be a little closer to home and go to the Seahawks.  It would have been neat to see him on the sidelines from time to time and maybe even work his way into the #2 spot. Plus, I just think he'd have done well under Holmgren's tutoring-- although his style (particularly the volume level) of coaching is a far cry from Locey's.

I was hoping you'd do that.  I was in L.A. over the weekend and had to miss the entire draft and, of course, the local news coverage.

Congrats to Casey Allen too.  In my earlier congrats to Brett, I didn't see that Casey had signed too.  Not that either of them seem to actually READ these posts, but all the same. Hope he does well up there.

Another great video my man. I'm glad the Linfield Athletic Dept. pays you so well to keep us on the cutting edge of Wildcat news. ::)

I'm going to the reception in Portland tomorrow for the new Linfield President, Dr. Hellie. Think of all of this excitement he missed coming from Hiram College in OH whose football program basically sucks.  Do you think he can adjust to the excitement of winning football?

first off I'd like to say good luck to Brett and Casey. Makes all of us proud to be Wildcats!!!!

2nd. Thanks 11 for the great clips, I've missed them because of a computer blow up so to speak. But now I'm back and faster than ever.

I'm sure I've been missed ;) ;D. It's good to be back!
I see some newbees, Welcome! Can't wait for Football to start!
......GO WILDCATS.......... Leave no doubt in '06......
Only at a D3 football game could you have 2 seats on the 50 yard line (2 rows behind bluenote) and have an obstructed view!
I love D3 Football!!!
