Lever Street

Just got home from Maxwell Field.  The Cats looked very good.

The D was outstanding, should have been a shutout except for the blocked punt that put the ball on the Cat 5 yard line.

The O was very good too.  Total domination by Linfield.

Dogs chase Cats.  But Wildcats tear dogs to shreds.
You can't get to CatDome without seeing Lever Street.   Go Linfield!

the difference and it's a scary difference between this year and last years version of the cats is how much better the defense is. They were really young last year and now look they are still getting better. They are the key to another run at Salem.

KennethK,

Congrats to the Johnnies for their victory today over Carleton.

As I recall after the Johnnies' Eau Claire game you said the Johnnies had "dominated" the game though Eau Clare blocked 3 of their punts, scored off 2 of them and only lost by 7 points.

So if that's your definition of "domination", how would you describe the Wildcats, Pointers game today?

Nice to meet Pez Cat, Tux Guy and GHC at the Tail Gate today.

What is a Wildcat Tail Gate without the arrival of Wildcat"64 fresh off his Wildcat One touchdown of another sort, at Mac International Airport.

Perfect sunny football weather today. It doesn't get any better than this.  Are we ready for PLU Oct. 1st?  Any word on a possible Pio replacement game?

The announcers said that as of now, there's no replacement game for the 'Cats or any other NWC team.

I'd say Armstrong is going to be nails as the other DB. The defense was sick, they've  basically played almost two games without giving up a single point (after opening drive for TD to WOU and blocked punt recovered close to goal line vs. UWSP which wasn't their fault).

Elliott setting the all time Linfield record for career TD passes w/ 71 in 15 games (probably only 10 or 11 full games). Yeah, that happens like......never.

Gotta give the Pointers credit for playing us. They stepped up when we were having a hard time finding another game two years ago.
A packed student section behind an end zone cheering on guys they will actually see in class on Monday is almost as cool as The Streak.

I'm back home in CA. What a great day. Good seeing densla, WC11, GHC, LBC, and Coco and Mrs, Coco again. Wow! The defense is nails this year. Something I was impressed with today, the blocking by Casey Allen. McKechnie can thank Allen for a lot of his yards.

Were those seats OK Cawcdad?

UPS has found their replacement for the L & C game, but will not announce it until Sunday. I have heard from a source who the team will play, but I will not announce it until the rest of the NWC knows of who it is. But I will say that the team is not from the state of Washington. That is the only clue of who the Loggger are playing at the end of the season

Nice job yesterday RATS.

Over 500 yards of offense.  WTG offensive line.

Defense you held a good offensive team to 2 scores.  Also WTG.

Some are saying that the Alumni will play the replacement game, in addition to playing the JV's this Monday.  We will have to wait and see.
Enjoying helping host the alumni tailgate yesterday.  It was great to see the boys come back to the Catdome to play again.  Heard some great stories.  Looking at their roster I think they can compete. Several of the players at the tailgate were sporting 04 national champiionship rings ( bling  bling).  Should be fun

How rude of me not to thank you 48. The seats are great, a post blocks the corner of the south endzone, but just lean forward or back to see. :D You have some nice "neighbors". Thanks again and enjoy the rest of the season. Hope to see some of you all in person again when the Cats bring their show to No. CA and Menlo.
