Chris Casey is currently the head coach of my alma matter- Aloha High School. Why would anyone want to leave that plush job?
His kids could attend Linfield or a number of other colleges pretty much at no cost.

I would bet Smith will continue to run the defense for the time being...

I've heard Jackson Vaughan's name being tossed about as a possible DC.

Happy fathers day to all. Cawcdad, you're welcome. We went 2-4 on the road trip. According to one of our pitchers as we're getting off the bus as a "Good One"
The great blessing of mankind are within us and within our reach; but we shut our eyes, and like people in the dark, we fall foul upon the very thing we search for, without finding it

Linfield Video of the Week!!![/b]

***Next Week: Video from Linfield's Summer Football Camp***

'Cats Fa Natic

From the News-Register: "The 'Cats scored a major coup when they signed Bubba Lemon, who appeared to be heading to the Air Force Academy before coming to Linfield. Montana State, the University of Washington and Portland State were among the other schools interested in his play."

Er, they fail to mention what position Bubba plays though...

Anyone?
{Clever sign-off goes here.}

Camcat:  Thanks for the link on the Cats in 06.  Who do see as Linfields toughest opponents?

Hardin-Simmons? In terms of the NWC race, I'd say the Whitworth Pirates followed by Willamette and Pacific Lutheran.

I figured Whitworth should be strong with Joel Clark returning..

Thanks, Wildcat11, for the latest video. I remember that game, and it was a such a strange deal.

I also watched the Hazenberg Highlights video again, just to agonize over what we're losing. Does he have any younger brothers?

Whitworth will have more experience and talent back than ever before. But that hardly means a thing unless they can prove it on the field. They have a fairly tough road schedule with Redlands, UW-Stout, PLU, and Linfield...and they added a date with a very good NAIA squad in Azusa Pacific.

Snell must have been an very good receiver for Whitworth.  Who takes his spot?
