CamCat, Holy Water.....That's a good one, I took care of it for you this time.
Tuxguy,

Did you like that? So if a guy were to say "Forgive me Father for I have sinned. Would you sprinkle me, please?" How could he possibly get busted for pandering for karma? ;)

WC11,

You should get Kelly Bird to put a link to catdomalumni.com on the Linfield football homepage.

Linfield Video: Special edition!

***At the end of each night of camp there were competitions that each team could compete in.  The newest clip is the tug of war.  I'll post the sumo contest up in the next couple of days.  Enjoy.  -11

CamCat..........Got-cha....You have been blessed with Karma! ;D
Only at a D3 football game could you have 2 seats on the 50 yard line (2 rows behind bluenote) and have an obstructed view!
I love D3 Football!!!

D O.C.

You say there are two (2) sessions of the football camp?
Enviable and emulateable (I think I made that word up) in Division III something tells me. I'll soon find out since this is the WWW.

Anybody ever participate in Perry's Sports Camp in Vernonia, OR, back in the day? I would imagine many coaches from around the Northwest did. Gymnasium-named-after-him, Ted Wilson, worked/coached there when he was at LINFIELD and that contributed to the 10 NWC titles.

Thanks again, 11.

Dens,

The Perry Camp helped bring many fine young student athletes to Linfield as a result of Coach Wilson's efforts, as you know.

May the Coach rest in peace......he was a "Great One" !!! (I suspect he is organizing the "House of Hustle" upstairs!)
LEAVE NO DOUBT

I went to Perry's Basketball Camp, had a great time. I went twice actually. Ted Wilson was a wonderful man, great guy to be around, very personable, classy.

Linfield had a couple players there, one guy was big time, I think the name was Wickman.  He had the build and skills of a D-I guy, easily.

Beautiful location, fun camp. I think the location is still being used as a hoop camp.

I haven't read the following info here so I am going to post about the
www.googleearth.com
this is not a real time site, but it is possible to get a satellite image of every football field in the world 8)

I was able to get an image of McMinnville from only about 500 feet...This image clearly shows the Linfield campus....and an old image of the Catdome before the upgrade...This site is just plain cool.

Not only can you see every football field in the world but everyone's house as well....Better be careful what you do out there....This is only the free version....
Don't forget your booties cause it's cold out there!

Once again, rumors are abounding that I may actually show my face at the Catdome this season....but I am not going to hold my breath.  The rumors have more weight than in previous years....My wife even wants us to enter the US via Honolulu...She has asked me if any of you guys out Hawaii way...can give us the inside scoop on cheap hotels, eateries, etc....

I imagine I will be able to look you up 86 in St.Louis and CAWCDAD in the Bay Area.

Criswyly.....you may want to go to a companions site, maps.google.com and hone in on the Linfield campus with that site.   When you go to the satellite, the big red L at "centerfield" (a CFL reference in honor of SID Kelly Bird, a Canadian citizen) is easy to see and get reasonably close up.

Gordon....thanks the the reminder about the show.   My TiVo was set a week ago, not knowing if I was going to be home (we have a family member who is recovering from two grueling, but thankfully routine, heart surgeries).   For those of you with Directv, it is channel 610....but you may have to have the Sports Pack, and extra few bucks a month.

In this weeks Sports Illustrated, in the front of the mags 'what to watch' section, where they profile events both large and small on upcoming tv, there is a pic of none-other than BE himself and a small write-up on his cstv special. Now if I only had cstv...way to go si.
Saturday will be the most epic tailgate ever, especially if my wife gives birth under the Quick-Shade.

Anyone have any info about Lewis & Clark?

Will  they be able to play a full schedule?

Or, do NW conference teams need to seek a possible replacement game?

At this point it looks like the Pioneers will play a full slate.

Here's their 2006 schedule.
