In this weeks Sports Illustrated, in the front of the mags 'what to watch' section, where they profile events both large and small on upcoming tv, there is a pic of none-other than BE himself and a small write-up on his cstv special. Now if I only had cstv...way to go si.

I don't have it either.  I called my cable service provider and while I was on the call with the guy he signed me up for CSTV  and several other channels for $5.00 for the month. He had me hooked up with the channel before the call was over.  I will cancel it in the next few days.

Or you can hop on a plane to PDX.  I live 5 minutes from the airport and you can fly in this evening.  I'll pick you up and you can watch it at my place. :)

Think we got ya beat today (Sunday). I think we broke the 100 Deg. mark. Its 8:20 P.M. and were at 93 Deg.

Not to worry, there's no such thing as global warming.

Swede,
I follow the McMinnvile temps vs. Vancouver, WA very carefully and I am not surprised.  I find that you are almost always 1 to 2 degrees warmer than we. Weatherbug.com says you got to 103 today and we got to 102. It is 87 degrees here now at 8:45 P.M.

Did you see the Brett Elliott ,"Chasing the Dream" show tonight?  It was fine but not nearly as exciting as watching him and the Wildcats play.  Marty Schottenheimer had some nice things to say about him.  Let's hope that translates into, he has a chance to make the team.

This hot weather ought to be good news for the Wildcats!  Afternoon temperatures in the mid-90's are not uncommon is Abilene in mid-September!  (Now where is that emoticon for Texas sweat? ???) :D

Linfield Video of the week!!!
***Later this week: Linfield football camp sumo contest***

***The 2006 edition of the Alumni vs. JV game is a little over 3 months away: Monday, October 2nd at 7pm.  If you are a former Wildcat that wants more information on the game please email me at catdomealumni@yahoo.com  The roster is slowly rolling in and it looks like the alumni is putting together a decent looking squad.

****There will be no new video next week due to the 4th of July holiday.

Outstanding, WC 11!
What a load of talent out there.  You're going to play again, aren't you?
I loved watching all you guys. Buchheit gets so excited.

WC11, great stuff as always.......

So how many days does it take to recoup? ;)

Is there a list of the players who played and the numbers they were waring?

I feel for those boys and coach's over at the team camp, 70 one day 103 the next, :o gotta love Oregon! ;D
Only at a D3 football game could you have 2 seats on the 50 yard line (2 rows behind bluenote) and have an obstructed view!

Tux,
I hope the Cats who are helping out with the camp are getting use to the heat because that is what its going to be like in Abilene on September 16.  According to Google the average temp in Abilene on that weekend historically is 87 degrees with a high of 100 and a low of 60....nice day for a little tailgating but just a little warmer than the Catdome that time of the year!
LEAVE NO DOUBT

Tuxguy

Wc'64, I agree....

The good news is they play in early sept , as you pointed out. It can be hot in Aug. and early sept. at the Catdome, so maybe they will not be effected to much.

As far as tailgating for that game, It will be a nice 72 at the Tux-dome as we listen to darrell and Dave on the Cat channel. 1260am ;)

From the LINFIELD Athletics website off CSTV:

http://mfile.akamai.com/9192/wmv/cstv.download.akamai.com/9192/cstv_videos/football/elliott_golf.asx

If this doesn't work I won't be around to fix it.

Great day to sit in an Abilene bar and watch Oregon v Oklahoma in preparation for later afternoon tailgating!
Saturday will be the most epic tailgate ever, especially if my wife gives birth under the Quick-Shade.
