Beancounter,

"the soul of the College is exemplified by its' football program."

I have to disagree with you abit about that...I would revise that to...."the "heart" and soul of the College is exemplified by its football program."
Okay, okay....so I'm a nitpicker ;D

From Coach Vince Lombardi:

"A school without football is in danger of deteriorating  into a medieval study hall."
Go Cats! Make it 62 in '17!

Don Hansen's Pre Season Division III poll is out (July 17th - a bit old news but haven't seen it hit this page as of yet).

The Cats pull down the #6 slot in the poll.....Once again 50% of the top 6 teams are in the West Region (Whitewater #2, St. Johns #3 and the Cats #6).

Hardin-Simmons is a pre season pick of #26.  You can bet they will be gunning for the Cats in the second game of the season to try and improve their rankings.

Go Cats -- Once Again in 06!

I doubt that Hardin-Simmons lies awake at thinking of their standings in the Don Hansen Poll. ;D

Pirate Pride

So on my 15 hour trek to Vegas last thursday I was reading a college football magazine (not sure which one) and noticed Marshall and Allan recieved again a couple pre-season all-american honors.  Though I may be one of a few Pirate fans on here, I still want to give respect to these gentlemen for their awards.  Bearcat lineman was also on the list.
For all you cat fans...
Also saw listed that Benzel was the "Newcomer to Watch" or something along those lines.

My mind is still alittle fuzzy from the "moderate" drinking that took place while I was down there, sorry for any spelling errors or clarity of my post.  Ohh yeah, and my wallet is a little lighter, but I'm just greatful that the liver is one of the few organs that is able to heal itself.  Atleast I hope it does.

Just to do alittle name dropping...got a kick out of seeing Ron Jeremy and Brad Garrett playing in the WSOP.

Pirate Pride,

That reminds me of what the flight attendant said when landing in vegas recently, "Welcome to lost wages."

WC11,
Thanks for the clip! Those runs by David Russell brought back some great memories! And how about Tyler Matthews arm, that was a great pass!
By the way 11, I got a laugh on the Oregonlive site when the guy was telling you how to link up your site! Your doing a great job and I look forward to each new clip you come up with.
I see the smite bandit has hit again! I can't wait for the season to start!!!

Only at a D3 football game could you have 2 seats on the 50 yard line (2 rows behind bluenote) and have an obstructed view!
I love D3 Football!!!

Thanks Pat,

Looks like the old saying stays true to form for the top programs in the country.

Great job as always 11.  I'm looking forward to "Big Hits" next week.  I'm guessing there might be a couple highlights of Ray Lions decapitating receivers coming across the middle somwhere in that footage.

Gig Harbor Cat

Great work  11.  Nothing like getting pumped up for the work day with a Cat video.

Life is good--  C ya soon

The Maxwell Field Webcam tells it all-----the portable seating is being put in place for the start of the season!

Not long now before the team reports for daily doubles!

AZCATDADDY

Desert Cat,
FYI...#45 was married this past weekend,  in Oregon.  Will be teaching and coaching in Prineville, Oregon. Guess that Oregon has grown by one AZ transplant. Good news is that this provides a better excuse to come back to Oregon and not only see Cat games, but also maybe to hunt and fish. Best wishes to your son in his new role.
