Coco is having a wonderful time. They got just over 300 pounds of fish today, dressed out, mostly halibut, but some ling cod, also.  Coco caught a salmon, too.

He said you fish differently up there, Wildcat'64, so he doesn't need his usual fishing gear of cat food and firecrackers.

Good for Coco. His usual method of fishing gave me a good laugh.

I'll be up in 2 weeks to move my daughter in. Maybe get over to the Catdome to watch a little practice.

The secret recipe to green glowing guppies is:

take a buzzilion steel mills

put them on the Mahoning River for about 75 years

add free flowing toxic waste

put a dash of oil overflow from local wells

mix in molten steel

blend in some tacanite balls

just a dash of sulpher  powder

fold in briskly with rain and ground water

and you have green glowing guppies, already cooked coming out of the river.

an added bonus is the water will strip the paint off your car before you take it to Earl Schiebe for the repaint! It saves you some money.

Keep your Oregon and Washington waters clean and your fish non-florecent.

This game was not broadcast in our area.  Details, please....With Brett being #4, they only played the normal 3 QB's.  Was he in uniform, on the sidelines?  In  a, "six degrees of separation moment,"  UWW LB coach, Chris Simpson, was invited to coach on the sidelines for the Packers last night after spending time with them this summer after being chosen for the NFL minority coaching internship program.  He will be welcomed back into camp this afternoon.  Congrats to Coach Simpson, a very well deserved opportunity!!!  Wonder if Brett and Simpson had a chance to visit.......   Probably not!!

Brett Elliott's best chance is to make the practice team. I just don't see the Chargers going into the season with Rivers and two rookies backing him up.
