I'M BACK!

It  has been a long summer with  my employer building new digs and being in charge of much of the project.  I haven't checked in but I hear a trip to the Lone Star State may be in the offing! 

TuxGuy, Send me the details.  I hope you are going to start stocking up on the great sauce because I would  hate to think you would run out again.  GHC I am sure will show up with some of the great longies again this year.  They are hard to beat for sure. 

WC64, Everything is great on the  hill.  I have been watching over the place like a good Councilor would and I am happy to report that since your place is doing so well we have decided to raise your taxes a bit but only by 17%.  Everyone else is 9% and I am sure I can get yours lowered, but it may take a bribe or two.  Salmon would do just fine in this case.

CamCat.  No go on your request.  I have done some PI work and am having trouble locating the information that you want, but I am still on the trail and hopefully I will not have to call in any of McMinnville's finest to assist although I do know that the person in which we speak and Swede have the same employer so I might need to call in a favor or to.

Glad to have you back.....frankly I was getting a bit concerned about your prolonged absence from the Board.

I'll see if I can't catch you a fish for a campaign contribution (we prefer to call them contributions rather than bribes in our neck of the woods).
In the interim, until the start of the football season at least, keep knocking on those doors reminding your constituents what a great job you're doing!

Since you have found yourself engaged in a construction project, I assume that in your spare time you have figured out a way to remove that post in the Catdome that obstructs your view of the goal line when the Cats are scoring another TD.

I passed your kind message on to Coco, but the group he's with has their plans carved in concrete. Apparently they follow the same routine every year, which includes going to some establishment in Anchorage that has naughty women performing. This is the first year he's gone. From what I picked up from the website, the "paying" customers sit in the front row. The observers sit in the rows behind. Coco said he's exhausted from the fishing, and considering how old he is, he probably wouldn't be able to lift his arms up high enough to do anything with dollar bills, so I'm guessing he'll just be watching and drinking.

The were extremely fortunate with the fishing, however.

Glad to hear Coco had a successful trip and is coming home loaded with halibut.  I know the establishment of which Coco is headed for entertainment --- the front row is affectionately refered to as "the meat rack".  I know Coco is exhausted from reeling in those big whoppers from 200 feet down but the entertainers understand that most of the fishermen are worn out -- therefore all Coco needs to do is lay down his dollar bills and they will quickly disappear.  He'll have some good stories to tell the gang on Friday nights at the Elks before the Tailgaters on Saturdays!  I bet those fish will grow in size by the time the Cats kickoff in a couple of weeks!

That's good to know.  I wouldn't want him to pull a muscle. When he called tonight he said his arms weren't all THAT sore anyway, so I guess he'll be able to enjoy himself.

Have your seat reserved same as last year.  There are a couple of games I may even have two if you bring someone along.

WC64, I should not have used that nasty 'bribe' word.  Maybe I will just stick with 'in-kind charitable contribution'  That way you can write it off and I can enjoy it.

Swede - Of course I will be there at the Elks.  Maybe you can say a little longer this year and not worry about leaving so early.
