GHC,
go to forums, sports, small College Football.

You might recognize an other Cat fan on that site ;)

Question, Which small High School did David Russell go too?
Only at a D3 football game could you have 2 seats on the 50 yard line (2 rows behind bluenote) and have an obstructed view!
I love D3 Football!!!

Well, if the game was not important enough already, now it means a few more things.
Saturday will be the most epic tailgate ever, especially if my wife gives birth under the Quick-Shade.

Pat (and Keith and the others involved),

Nice job with the 2006 Kickoff. I can't imagine how much time and effort that must take.

For those who are interested and haven't ordered it yet, the 2006 Kickoff really does provide additional in depth coverage on a number of topics and teams - including non-conference opponents some of the NWC teams will be playing. In addition, it is inexpensive and helps support this site, including the privilege known as Post Patterns.
A packed student section behind an end zone cheering on guys they will actually see in class on Monday is almost as cool as The Streak.

Thanks a lot criswyly, now I'm going to have to follow the Immokalee Indians down in FLA as well.

Let's not forget this disclaimer:

Quote*Note- Opening ratings are historically derived with statistical emphasis placed on recent trends. They do not take into account personal opinions, returning personnel, coaching changes, etc. Opening ratings are used as a starting point to the season and will be factored into the ranking formula until they are removed after the fourth week of play.

Ugh.

I have to join just before the UPS video hits the NWC board.

Damn.

Damn.

That ups video is funnier than Talladega Nights, and better scripted as well. I still remember the week leading up to that game...complete with the bulletain board material from that ups running back about how ups played Linfield so close the year before so...

Ha ha. The 'cats became the sharks for a day, as they smelled blood for sure.

All in good fun though. The loggers tried to sprint before they could run in that one...

Seriously...
in the latest UPS video, in the second highlight, does anyone else see the thrown football bounce off the turf then into 3's hands; then advanced.  ???
Still a highlight I suppose.
Could have been called illegal (not shown).
I could be blind.

If you watch, it was a fumble. That was the call on the field as well.

Haven't heard a ton from camp yet, but what I have heard is that the 'Cats are gonna have to cut a lot of really good football players this year.  Of course, that just means the recruiting class is THAT good.  This is a tough situation, especially for those young men, but it is a very good problem to have.   ;D
There's nothing like being a wildcat.  Some say they understand, but until you've lived it, you have no idea.

What is the maximum a team can carry?  Is that number set by the NCAA, conference or individual program?

First I have to say nice job on the Kick off Gentleman!
Linfields schedule update for the site.
9/9 @Linfield vs. Western Oregon U. 6pm
10/14@Linfield vs. Southern Oregon U. 6pm
First home night games since 1969!

Now that I've said that, Looks like the  Cats will have some extra incentive according to the predictions from D3.com.
D3.com has the  Cats underdogs going in to the Hardin-Simmons game, at least that's what I get from the Wildcats 8-1 predicted season record.  Maybe that's a good thing. We will see on Sept. 16th.
I was surprised at some of the predictions, and of course I'm bias, but I think the Wildcats are poised for another Championship run! Especially after reading Orca Jr.s post. It's tough to cut  a lot of really good players, but that means the recruiting class is THAT GOOD! Good news! Not good news for Linfields opponents. I also think flying under the radar will be Tim Benzel. I look forward to him turning some heads as the year progress's. Could it be that Clark takes a back seat to another Linfield Qb? ;D

I found this interesting, John McGraw picks Linfield to have the worst falloff record wise of last years playoff teams!  ???
Can we get that blown up and put in the locker room!! ;)

And as always IMHO!!
