It seems like all of the Chargers message boards seem to think it's a given Brett will be signed to the PS on Sunday. Certainly hope they're right in this case.

Yeah, dang, that's too bad. I'd have liked to have seen him stay on the active 53. They kinda need 3 QBs on the game-day roster. I wonder if they're hoping a really good veteran might not have made the cut elsewhere. (I see Jeff George was already cut, as was Cody Pickett.) Seems like with that open QB slot, they're angling for SOME sort of experienced backup.

Well, after what I saw, I still think he looked good out there and hope that was enough of a showing that he makes it somewhere.

WOU leads 14-0 with about 2 minutes left in first half.  I think Willamette's site is down...I'm getting the feed on the thru the WOU site.  Willamette has been moving the ball, just hasn't been able to put it in the end zone.
WOU's Van Zant has already run for 78 yards in the first half.

I went to the Menlo-McMurry game today. Menlo actually got a win. They scored on their first two drives as the Indians showed the effects of having arrived at their hotel at 11p.m. the night before. McMurry finally settled in and held the Oaks scoreless the rest of the way and had a couple of good drives in the second half but were unable to score. McMurry was robbed when they went for it on 4th and 12. They completed a pass and the reciever took it inside the one. He lost the ball after his knee hit the ground but the refs gave it to Menlo. I was right on top of the play, not looking from the stands.
