With all this discussion about Brett Elliot, what's become of his most recent target, Casey Allen? I heard he was cut from the Canadian team he'd signed with but where's he at now?

When I talked to Brett on Sunday he said Casey was doing some sightseeing in Europe with a buddy, so not sure if he'll be back in Mac for Saturday's game or not.

So far the MIAC pickem board likes Redlands (+6.5)

Not much love for the rats...If I knew a bookie who ran d3 odds, I would jump all over whit and take the points.
Saturday will be the most epic tailgate ever, especially if my wife gives birth under the Quick-Shade.

Gig Harbor Cat

I expect the Rats to be a +24 in this one boys.  Too much horsepower or should I say Ratpower

Thanks for the update on Casey. How does Brett feel about the practice squad? What's he been hearing from the coaches about the chance of getting promoted?
{Clever sign-off goes here.}

Hey, this is kinda off topic but I was going through the NFL transactions after cut-down Saturday. Was anyone else as shocked as I was about Mike Haas not only being cut by the NO Saints but also that no one else picked him up? Not even for a practice squad?

Man, after watching that guy be practically the ONLY received that OSU had the last couple years, catching everything thrown his way, I would have thought he of all people would have been a lock to make it somewhere in the NFL.

Where's Frank? Can I get a pro's opinion on this?

And does anyone know what happened to him down there? Did he just not produce? Slough off? What?

Linfield Video: Special edition!

KGW news story on the Wildcat's helping out some local McMinnville families in need during the holidays.  Great job 'Cats!!!!

Cat Fanatic...you must not follow the NFL draft too closely regarding Hass.  He was a sixth round pick, hardly a "lock" to make it someplace in the NFL.   He doesn't have NFL speed and NFL separation, in my view.   He got cut by New Orleans, not New England or Cincinnati or some team that is loaded with receivers...the Saints have Horn out there and some trickery with Bush out of the backfield...but that is about it.

None the less, Hass was picked up for the Chicago practice roster.

Nicely done, AGAIN, to Wildcat 11. Think how much more you would have had to play with had Lewis and Clark fielded a team.

That Tyler Whitewater was my favorite of that game.

Oh, yes, would you remind someone Saturday

The board , so far, is unanimous - The Bearcats (-8.5) over the Gusties at Salem.

Only at a D3 football game could you have 2 seats on the 50 yard line (2 rows behind bluenote) and have an obstructed view!
I love D3 Football!!!

ClassicCat

Great job Wildcat 11. Your video is a tribute not only to the upcoming season but also to all who have had the honor of being a Cat. The Cats will prevail this weekend and all weekends hence because Cats play with  intensity and saavy, they execute and play with attitude their forefathers possessed 50 years ago. Linfield opponents have never figured out what makes us special. For us, football is not thinking about winning or losing. Rather, it's about how badly we're going to beat you.

GO WILDCATS - WELCOME BACK TO THE NIGHT LIFE!

Catville Commissioner Elect

TuxGuy,

As requested by one of the Citizens of this great down and due to potential consequences that may occur, I will come loaded with gas (non human type of course) so we can make sure the beef is done to perfection as usual.

What is the name of the sauce once again.  I went to Roths yesterday nad just could not remember.  Probably should have been smart and gave you a call on the cell.

WELCOME TO THE BOARD CLASSIC CAT.  Nice to have another Cat fan on the board.  The more the merrier.

See everyone at the TG about 4:00.

Is anyone going to the ELKS or Trask Friday night to plot and review stratagy.  It would not be the same not hearing the wise DesertCat doing his synopsis on the game Saturday.  It is almost as good (just kidding) as watching the game itself.
