11..... Thanks for the weather update. Question: I can't remember.....( to many longies).... but did it rain even once on the Cats last yr?  Maybe it was all the balls flying through the air.... but I can't remember getting wet. (at a game)

I would have to classify Eau Claire as good compitition.

Remember their regular season compitition wasn't so good a couple years ago either.

yes you are right Eau Claire is good compitition but maybe weaker than in years past, maybe not.  Don't get me wrong, SJU is good, but how good we don't know yet

Camcat - I agree with TuxGuy, you certainly look like you are having fun, scrolling banners and all.  Your ticket will be awaiting you at the TG action.  After a couple of GHCs Longies, you may have to remind me to give it to you if I don't see you after.  Matter of fact stay close by in case I need help finding my seat or the stadium for that fact.  I may need someone to protect me from Mrs Topcat. 

GHC - What have you done with MOJO.  The burgers and chops were awful good last week, but I was kind of  concerned when I over heard someone say the burgers had really good MOJO in them OUCH!

Swede - you must have gotten your DSL up and running and if you did it by yourself I am really impressed.  Someone can still teach an old SWEDE new tricks 

Who is all going up to Spokane next week.  Mr and Mrs Topcat and NewCat and Mrs NewCat will be arriving at the DoubleTree about 5:30 Friday.  Does anyone know if anyone is getting together Friday night someplace downtown.  Would be nice to get together and hoist a few for the Cats before Saturday.  All signed up for the BBQ at 11:00 Saturday before the PiRat game.  I understand there is room for more if you call Alumni Relations.  Debbie or Bruce could probably take care of you. 

I am not a great physic like GHC, but I still say it will be a 48-10 routing with the guys from up North riding into the sunset before the butcher gets a hold of them.

L&C @ Chapman...Well, the bad news for the Pios is that their season ends next weekend. Or is that good news. Chapman 37-21.

Whitworth @ E. Oregon...I wouldn't read too much into EOU's win against Montana Tech last week. The Orediggers (one of my favorite college nicknames) lost their starting QB for the season a few weeks earlier and had been struggling on offense since his injury. Plus EOU barely beat a bad Rocky Mountain team. But EOU's passing offense has looked good so far this year. Whitworth 45-35.

PLU @ Linfield...This could be one of the uglier games of the rivalry. Linfield  54-14.

Willamette @ UPS...I've been going back and forth on this one. Willamette played well last week and played 3 tough early games. But Menlo is down this year. So, I'm not sure what to make of them this year yet. UPS was looking good until the turnover bug killed them last week @ LaVerne. This game will help see where each team is this year. I like the Loggers due to their ability to stop the run slightly better than the Bearcats. UPS 24-17.

Hey Topcat you said physic but I'm sure that you ment physique right.  At any rate the Cats are in great shape to roll the Lutes.  I have been running into some Lute fans around the harbor giving me crap about the Cats.  So much for being Mr Nice Guy.

Cats by 50 at the half.  The Salty D pitches a shutout, when they are in the game.  Lutes score in garbage time only.
Final  63-10   Even if it does rain the crowd won't need umbrellas because the sky will be so full of purple frisbeees that the rain won't get through.  Lets send Coach Stash and his bag of tricks home to think it over. all he can say is WOW they really are THAT good.  No Lute magic tomorrow boys
