Oh, and CZK:

Yeah, I think CC is better than that, but, if I remember correctly, they were LC's only win two years ago. But then again, LC had a team two years ago.  :)

Anyway, I'm not holding my breath on that prediction.

I've also heard some grumblings about my Menlo prediction. We'll see just how real Menlo is this week, and how bad (or not) the bearcats are.

'Cats Fa Natic

Don't know what it's like in Mac right now, but down here by Salem, what a spectacular day for football! Big, bright blue sky, a hint of crispness to the air, and the air has that delicious autumn smell to it.

Bye weeks really suck.

:(
{Clever sign-off goes here.}

'Cats  Fa Natic,

It's just as nice over here. I was thinking of grabbing my T.V. and going over to the Catdome and watch the USC vs. Arizona game just to get my Football fix.  ;)

The bye week really sucks when the Cats play out of town the week before, and  so far away you can't drive.  :(

The Wildcats defence of the Conference Title starts on Saturday when
The Bear-kittens  come to town for Homecoming!
Lets makem leave with a tail between their legs.

Only at a D3 football game could you have 2 seats on the 50 yard line (2 rows behind bluenote) and have an obstructed view!
I love D3 Football!!!

Did anybody else see the article in the Oregonian that WOU agreed to kick off from their own goal line to start the game this weekend against SOU?  I guess they would rather just get the penalty yardage out of the way right up front from all of the personal fouls they're likely to get in the game and SOU agreed to let them march it off at the beginning...amazing stuff.  :o

Downtown,

I hear from a good source that a state trooper pulled over  the WOU players bus on their way down to SOU.  The trooper wrote them a 15-yard ticket for unsportsmanlike conduct and called them for a foul against Dwane Wade.

News flash from Monmouth,...... Wolves agree to kick off from goal line after each score just to cover any extra personal fouls they might incure during the game.
This, after the Saturday Oregonian reported the  Raiders had agreed to a one time march off to start the game!
Who new?
;) ;)

Hmmmm, almost halftime in the 'rat game. Whit misses a 47 yard field goal and will be trailing 7-0. They are ahead in total yards and TOP, but cannot get any points.

On the bright side, they have zero WOU's today. Meanwhile WOU has given sou 5 pts already as they will undoubtedly cheat them out of points via a dirty play soon enough.
Saturday will be the most epic tailgate ever, especially if my wife gives birth under the Quick-Shade.

I heard the whole Willamette O line has broken legs.
Two words:  THE STREAK

Just a side note........
Local sports......
McMinnville High School takes down Roseburg, the #7  team in the state last night 41-14...

Grizzlies Running back Josh Armstrong Rush's ( I believe 33 times)for 239 yards and 4 Td's. 100 yrds and 2 Td's in the first Qrt.  Of The first 20 plays josh ran  18 of times.  He just ran over people, and in today's local yokel, Josh says after the game "I'm  a little sore."

Linfield Alum Alan Boschma leads The Yamhill-Carlton Tigers to an other win last night against Taft. The Tigers are undefeated under Boschma so far this year.

Unbelievable finish going on between Whitworth and UW-Stout! You guys have to tune in for this if you get a chance.
A packed student section behind an end zone cheering on guys they will actually see in class on Monday is almost as cool as The Streak.

29 sec left, Whitworth at the UW-Stout 5 yard line and still trailing 7-0.

UW-Stout narrowly missed a field goal to seal the deal with a little over a minute left. Whitworth has marched down the field to give themselves a shot. Some tough breaks for Clark, 3 INTs and missed a wide open WR to tie the game earlier in the 4th. Whitworth still has a chance, though.

I've lost my connection.....

Overtime. Whit scores with very little time left.

Whit has the ball to begin OT.

4th down for the 'rats after gaining 2 yards. They are going for a 40 yard field goal- It is NO GOOD.

Stout needs points and they win.

Whitworth's kicker tries to kick himself but misses.....

spiritof86

Those three redzone td's by the 'rats are KILLER.

Stout is going nowhere after 2 plays. Lets go D.
