five picks and they're only up 2 scores...they better tighten up or they're gonna get their doors blown off at the Catdome!

MonroviaCat

Hmm...turnovers seem to be the difference in the WW-PLU game....sounds familiar.....
Go Cats!

Lever Street

Cats are now in a groove.  2-0 in NWC play.

Go Linfield!
You can't get to CatDome without seeing Lever Street.   Go Linfield!

MonroviaCat

Go Cats!

Linfield- The score does not necessarily indicate the flow
Saturday will be the most epic tailgate ever, especially if my wife gives birth under the Quick-Shade.

CATs win!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  42-17.  UPS shut out in the 2nd half.

Bring on SOSC or SOU or whatever they are now...
Go Cats!

Last I heard time of possesion was something like 40 to 14 in favor of Whitworth.

D O.C.

Not sure how any of my colleagues thought PLU was going to win that one BUT they showed respectfully and Whitworth may have something to think about late at night.

Good win for the 'CATS. I believe no injuries.

Off to Redlands to watch the smogset and see some high OXYCollins stepping.
Any other LINFIELD faithful there just look for the logo.

MonroviaCat

Have fun in the SMOG Dens.  PLU maybe could have won if not for the 5 turnovers....
Go Cats!

MonroviaCat

Or, however many turnovers there were

Congrats CATS!

Contrary to Aune and Hanson on radio, I don't feel as it was a closse game. Kickoff returns reveal a LOG weakness. Had we not returned the kickoffs, the O would have pervailed.

UPS's Lee had 29 yds in 11 carries. Talk about shutting him down; no wonder they passed more.

Anyone remember the dismal start v WOU? Things have improved. 2-2  and 2-0 in conference play. The showdown still appears to be on Nov 4 v Whitworth.

However, it's one game at a time, so bring on the Raiders.

Agreed.  It was evident that UPS couldn't throw it effectively so why defend it.  Sure you give up a couple long passes but so what.  They seemed to dominate in the 2nd half...

Just back from the game. Dissappointed about the result, but like the effort by the Loggers. They definitely had a new game plan against the Cats. Lee was held in check, but it was almost like he was a decoy. He was even held out of a lot of different packages, which I have not seen by the Loggers in the past few years.

Kavin played well, especially in the first half, but he missed a few wide open receivers, in both halves. I'd be concerned if I were Linfield. Blum, Berringer, and Lee were getting behind the Cat DBs, but Kavin was overthrowing them. Plus they had some trouble tackling him. Could Joel Clark provide some problems for the Cats in a few weeks? We'll see.

Congrats Cats on getting your Groove back with back-2-back wins!

Johnnies woke up and played some football today.

Hope our boys meet again this fall!
Now accepting new patients. All bills must be paid in scotch shortly after any services rendered.  Sorry TDT, no problems below the waist.

Discovered by the Germans in 1904, they named it San Diego, which of course in German means a whale's vagina.
