Too bad about WWU...a long and storied program.  I suspect a lot of those  kids will want to head to PLU/UPS or Linfield......they want to play football as well as get an education!
LEAVE NO DOUBT

I'll agree with President Elect Obama about one thing:
We need a DivI playoff....!

It will definetly be interesting to see where the WWU players go.
Don't forget your booties cause it's cold out there!

:D....they didn't seem to discourage it too much when they got the big fullback (Hicks) from U of W in '99.

Yea, Vindivich came from the U also after suffering an ACL injury that ended his career there, I believe.

I gotta think many of the guys close to getting their degree will just stay on scholarship and finish it, but the younger guys will bail and try to catch on somewhere else.

Does anyone have good information about the UNG League that is just starting up? I noticed that a couple of Linfield (Summers) and a player from Willamette have been "drafted" but don't know anything about them.

Just checked the UNGL website, and Taylor Summers and Scott Birkhofer appear on the roster of Team Florida. I believe their season kicks off on February 8th, but I haven't heard anything about who is televising UNGL games.

The United Football League is also starting later this year, and even the USFL is returning, minus Donald Trump of course.

That's great that some of these guys have the opportunity to continue playing. I hope they do well.

Hey Coco,
Lets buy one of those teams.  I see its only a 1.5 million initial buy in plus other expenses.  Mrs Coco could make her world famous cookies for the players.  sounds like fun
