Glad to see Linfield finally makes it out from the "Who Cares" spot in the final conference standings next year  ;D

;D  That's phenomenal!

In all seriousness, I think the Bearcats are going to be okay next season.  I'm not sure if we'll be in the top 10, but we're certainly capable of being a playoff team.  We played a lot of underclassmen last year - particularly on defense - and I don't think the change at QB is that severe.  What's going to make or break the offense is who steps up to replace Merben Woo.

I should also throw in that once conference starts, our schedule is very friendly.  With Whitworth, Linfield, and PLU all coming to McCulloch Stadium, we definitely have a shot.

You might have a chance against Whitworth and PLU....but when Linfield comes to town you're luck will run out. We've got the video on "How to Stop the Fly" from You=Tube so we're all set!

PS......when I was over at the Oxy and WW games this year I was a little disappointed that they didn't have any 2004 Stagg Bowl shirts and gear.....I asked the people manning the both if they had any and they had a kind of blank look on their faces, except for the one older guy who started smiling sheepishly.  ;D

You are both loosers.

11,
Thanks for posting the piece by Drew.  Sounds like a very grounded young man and has three more great years in the Cardinal  and Purple!

Still living in the past I see. Time to come back to the light Blue!

Ditto to what WC'64 said.

Thanks for posting these pieces from the players, WC11, and thanks to them for writing them. That takes time from their day, but I think we all appreciate getting to know more about them, especially when the off-season is so long.

Forgive me.....my 2009 resolution to be no less than opaque:
loser

a person, team, nation, etc., that loses: The visiting team was the loser in the series.

No need for new material when Redlands has more NWC titles over the last three years than Linfield.

So says the fan of the program that has as many NCAA DIII Playoff wins as Lewis & Clark.

I think your right. This will really hurt Linfield with their scheduling problems. Especially when the SCIAC Redlands won't give them a game. Yes, I said it. The SCIACRedlands is ducking Linfield, but you guys already knew that.....

There you go RFB...I fixed that quote of yours now that three SCIAC teams stepped up to the plate while the Dawgs are still waiting for their testes to drop.

I guess Maynard still knows Linfield owns him. 5-0
