Wildcat11....Is it possible to get a copy of the 2 playoff games with SJU? The full video of each game. Even though we lost both of those, it would be cool to have those in the Library. I know both were hard fought battles.

BTW....I voted for an interview with Pat Coleman..... ;D

Hey Warthog....Wartburg did pretty darn good this year in the playoffs. They made it all the way to the West Final. I watched the game on the internet. Your boys did a good job. They played pretty tough for most of the game. Then Whitewater pulled away. Nice work though....you guys have got that program back on track. What do you attribute it to?

The late summer resignation of Coach Kahler to go to Grand Valley State and Coach Willis returning to run the program.  With a two year record of 16-4, after he moved from assistant head coach, Coach K wasn't exactly chopped liver.  Coach Willis just brings a different tone to the whole atmosphere surrounding Wartburg Football.

Thanks Warty and everyone else.  I have my eye on a few non-Linfield people for this spring/summer that I'm going to try to track down that I think fans of Division III football would like to hear from.

I know we all appreciate having Jimmy G on the poll above  ;)

coco

I'm pulling for OxyBob, but when did Bluenote get added? That could have skewed the results.

....can we add coco too?  ;D  I want to hear him tell us about what happened on the bottom of the pile. I want to know if he ever got bitten.

I agree with Bluenote....it would be great to get a copy of those SJU games on DVD....

BTW...that poll is definetly skewed....whatever happened with "vote often"
Don't forget your booties cause it's cold out there!

Wildcat11:
Thanks for your time and effort. That was a great interview with Tyler Matthews. Our son was a redshirt freshman in 2002 for the Wildcats and I remember watching Tyler play. Your interview brought back some wonderful memories of our times at the Catdome. I remember getting a call from my son after the double OT win against Southern Oregon in 2002. He said it was the best game he ever saw. Can't wait for the new season to begin. LONG LIVE THE CATDOME!

Has anybod heard if Linfield has signed on any new impact players for next season?

bluenote

....where did the poll go? I was just going to vote for coco again! And GHC was hot on his tail!!!

Blue,

I asked PC to shut the pole down because the posters have spoken.  I have another Wildcat that I'm working on right now but OxyBob will be a subject of the Red and Purple Interview in the short future.

However right now on Catdomealumni.com's blog (ADvantage Catdome) we have a great blog entry from Linfield defensive lineman Ian Estrada as he's battling back from a 2nd ACL tear to get ready for his Senior year.

WOW.  God Bless that young man and his courage.

No kidding.
....and that might be the most sensible thing you've posted - right before the OxyBob interview too, hmmmm.
