You're right. Monmouth is not exactly an elite program either. I was glad to see the Midwest make a little noise in the playoffs this year, but they still have a ways to go.

That's a great point about the coaches, too. Linfield has maintained its winning ways throughout coaching changes over the past decades. We'll see how that goes for the other small college powerhouses.

54 in '09.    55 in '10 is going to have a better ring and look.

I always have plans in the works for making it to the Catdome every season....Obviously my plans don't always evolve into reality....this year's plan has a much greater degree of success compared to other years.....I'll just have to wait and see...as usual.

I was kicking something around in my head the other day.  I know we only have 4 regular season games at home next year and that doesn't seem right to only have 4 chances to tailgate at the Catdome in 2009 (sans playoffs of course!).  So my idea was to try to get a tailgater set up for later this spring before a Saturday home Linfield baseball game.

I saw a perfect date....Saturday April 18th for a Noon doubleheader vs Willamette.  Thoughts?

Sounds like fun, 11. You would even get to stick around long enough to enjoy the eats and drinks, unlike during the fall. Sorry we won't be here then.
