Stagg Bowl 05, and 08, maybe? Many believed them to be the best team talent wise in 05 but seemed to be caught in the ESPN/MUC headlights, especially the QB.  Last year they lost by 5 points with 2 missed FG's by one of the best FG kickers in the country. Oh, and I would add to the list, the loss to Stevens Point last season.  Way too many penalties by the Hawks gave opportunites to the Pointers and they stepped up and took advantage.  That would be my short list of "when Whitewater beat themselves" since their run began in 05.  Thankfully, it is a very short list!   ;)

Well it didn't take long for someone to bite at Blue's bait.

Like I said, WC11, I am that desperate for some off-season football talk.  You know as well as I do that at this time of year, our topic options are Hamm's and ice fishing, neither of which I enjoy indulging in.   ;) ;D

Yeah, the MIAC board does bore me to tears, nothing really happening on the WIAC board or the SCIAC board, but I've enjoy lurking on the IIAC board.  They've been strong the past year or so.

Hi guys..........

coco,
I thought blues favorite team was the Crown College  purple Storm?

Gotta love those schools with purple colors.

by the way WC11, did I miss the Baseball tailgater?

GO WILDCATS!
Only at a D3 football game could you have 2 seats on the 50 yard line (2 rows behind bluenote) and have an obstructed view!
I love D3 Football!!!

I liked their recent poll of one sentence descriptions of the conference schools.  It is amazing how consistent they are.

I agree.  But my lurking there only started recently when the University of Dubuque got the deal of the century and hired Stan Zweifel as their head coach.    He was our OC for 16 years until 07 and the top Warhawk recruiter and is responsible for bringing in most of the 05, 06 and 07 team.  I will enjoy watching what he will do with that program.

Hey, Tuyxguy.  Hope you and the family are well.

I can't wait until someone from MUC gets wind of that...   ;D

GO WILDCATS!

It's about time you showed up, Tux.
I forgot about Crown, Blue's other favorite. They could have the winner of the UPS v. Lawrence game for the National Bluenote Title.

I thought WC11 said the baseball tailgate was on April 18.

Weren't the WIAC schools in the NAIA at some time in the past? I believe so..... ;)  And besides the competition in the NAIA back then was equal to or tougher than it is in DIII now.   :-*
