Thanks!  Like all of the legends it was a fun clip to put together.  Be sure to keep speading the word on the site around.

Go 'Cats!

Again, a very nice job on the video. I do video for my daughter's high school swim team (she's the coach) and I was wondering which editing software program do you use? I'm really impressed with your work.

Alright! It's another Boxer rebellion.

Congrats all around.

That's super! What a deal for the students and the NWC!

Pacific made the right decision, but now we're going to have to root for them to do well like we are L&C, at least for a few years. That still feels weird.

It's offical!  Football will be back a Pacific!  Congrats on a huge win for Pacific and the NWC conference!
Yea!!!!!!!

2010!  It makes the fiasco at Colorado College even more conspicuous.

Hey WC 11,

Great news about Pacific, but I had a  couple of questions. Would the Boxers be playing more of a JV schedule in 2010, before actually facing NWC competition in 2011? How would this impact Linfield's scheduling?

I would think it means we will now finally have 10 games in 2010.

Naw, it just means you have one fewer OOC game to schedule, Blue.  That way you can keep getting winning seasons by winning five games. ;) :)

This is fantastic news for Pacific, the NWC, and for small college football in the Pacific Northwest.  Willamette's first football game ever was played against the Boxers, so on behalf of the Bearcat community, welcome back to our oldest rival!  I can't wait to see games in Forest Grove!

(On another note, is that actually going to be their helmet design?)

!st post from a mobile device....
Any body want to go see the 1st Pioneer / Boxer game?

I vote bye bye to Southern Oregon, when mutally agreeable.

Hey BearCat Press,

You do know Linfield has gone 5-4 only three times during the 53 years of The Streak, right? Please enlighten us about the national championships won by Willamette.

Mutually agreeable? Have you seen SOU's schedule? There's no way they want to drop Linfield (or Willamette).

wildcat11

D-Train is 100% right, there is no way SOU wants to lose either Linfield or Willamette and my feeling is that Linfield doesn't want the SOU game to go away either.  It's a long standing rival and it's a one-day bus trip where you can take most of the roster instead of a flight where you have to limit your roster.

SC,

Don't get all worked up by B-Press.  He's just having a little fun and if anything you should congratulate Willamette on their one consecutive winning season.  ;)

I, too, am glad to see Pacific re-join the Conference.  BUT, is anyone else nervous about this statement,

"Pacific's 21st intercollegiate athletics program hopes to take to the field in 2010, contingent on raising all of the necessary start-up expenses."

I'll be a lot happier when they have hired a coach and hit the field.

Great news about Pacific....Bring On The Boxers!  I suspect now that the Board has approved the money will really begin to flow to get the program underway.
LEAVE NO DOUBT

'64,
I bet you're right in that the Pacific alums and supporters will increase their giving now that football is a sure thing.

DenS, I sure hope Linfield has a bye when L&C and Pacific meet for the first time.

OK....NOT mutually agreeable.
Who's bent over backwards to help our scheduling lately?

Pacific is so dang close you save 10X the travel costs to SOU. Apply that money to Cal Lutheran (admit it, it's coming) and Redla Occdental.  I suppose it's too much to ask for an exotic game such as Wartburg or Central or Buena Vista for a 10th.
