WC11,
It took me 9 or 10 minutes, but I'm not sure I could do it again. They all got across and did their little two-handed Heil motion. Will that brain exercise delay my Alzheimer's for one more day?

For the rest of you ADHD folks, like me, perhaps this is more your cup of tea...not Japanese

wildcat11:  Mrs coco sent the Japanese IQ test to Mrs. Warthog a couple weeks ago.  So when coco says he successfully mastered the puzzle in 9 or 10 minutes, it is after he practiced for two weeks.

I'd take it easy on Coco...that Wartburg sticker on the Coco's car may come flying off.  :)

GHC told me it only took him 30 seconds to solve the puzzle.  He just turned his computer monitor upside down and it looked liked the people were on the other side of the river.  Done.

Last night, while channel surfing during one of the hockey intermissions, I came across a program on Comcast SportsNet Northwest (it is 37 on my cable system) called Great Athletes, Great Oregonians. It had a very short, but well done bit on the 1966 Linfield baseball team. According to the CSN schedule, Great Athletes, Great Oregonians will air at both 6pm and 10pm tomorrow. I don't know which episode it will be, but thought you guys might want to check it out. ;D

Don't believe Warty, 11.

Mrs. C. wouldn't send me anything like that because she wouldn't think I could solve it, and she wouldn't want me to break those last few brain cells trying. I wasn't a molecular math major like GHC.

Thanks Bennie.
Coco has enough cells left for that.

Wildcat11 and Catdomealumni.com's blog (ADvantage Catdome) have a real treat for everyone today.  I just posted up our latest Red and Purple Interview and our subject is D3football.com's very own Pat Coleman.  Great read on some of the site's backstory and you'll get PC's view and thoughs on various topics.

Yet to read the piece but I have my own inquiry for Mr Moderator...today's LA TIMES has a quote from Jeff Stan Van Gundy that he played basketball at a Division III school. Where?

According to Wikipedia, that must be Nazareth.  The write-up of van Gundy is very limited, but he reportedly was cut from the bball team at Yale, and also attended Menlo (NAIA).  The article doesn't mention whether or not he played for either Nazareth or Menlo, but Nazareth would be the only d3 school.

Quote"I don't think coaches ever match up," Van Gundy said. "If Coach Jackson and I were out there one-on-one. . . . He was an NBA player and I was a below-average Division III player in college, so my guess is the advantage would go to him."

Pat Coleman

Thanks, Wildcat11, appreciate it.

One Van Gundy played at Brockport State and the other at Nazareth. My brain is too friend to remember which at the moment. :)
