Is this the Keith Buckley that was at Stanford?  Interesting...no ties to the NW.

Mr. B. gots a degree in rhetoric and communication. That ought to make a good halftime show down 33-0 to Lewis and Clark at halftime.  ;D

Catdomealumni.com is putting together their "I-Team" to do a full report on Buckley.

Wow.  Not what I saw coming . . . but if it works out, good on Pacific!

I think L&C might be the only school more excited than Pacific to have the Boxers back.

I'm starting to think about Football again, which is somewhat surprising since the weather here in the Willamette Valley has been anything but Autumnal this past week.

I spent a little time this morning inputting the Bearcats schedule into Google Calendar. It's a shared calendar, and is available here. So if you're a Google Calendar user - and a Bearcat Fan, of course - you should be able to add it to your own calendar(s).

Division III Playoff dates are also included.

Enjoyed the UniWatch blog entry, 11.  Of course, I'd have flipped Willamette and Linfield in my own rankings. ;)  Personally, I like Willamette's all-red look better than the white or gold (RARELY worn) pants.  It helps to have the gold stripe.  FWIW, our unis are unchanged since 2005.

One other notable that I've been meaning to post but haven't was a great by the Portland Tribune on Willamette football/basketball recruit Terrell Malley.  Roosevelt is in a tough neighborhood, and regardless of who you root for, you have to like this kind of story.

(Of course, I should also point out that he had two interceptions in the Schwab Bowl . . . )

Great article, BCPress! Terrell should be a great addition to the Willamette community! Thanks for sharing.

Any information about why Bubba Lemon and brother transferred to Willamette?  I don't think it will hurt Linfield.

Really?

That would be a very, very interesting moment in the history of the program with THE STREAK.

It also sounds like the kind of story a certain poster sits on.

Former 'Cats gettin' it done in the first round of the AFL2 playoffs:  Boise Burn over Ark. Twisters 77-36  Casey Allen has 5 catches for 62 yards and 1 TD while Brandon Hazenberg's (D-Coord) defense held Ark. to 12 first half points (In the AFL that should be considered a shutout.)

The Burn will be in Spokane next week vs the #1 Shock.

I'm glad to hear those guys are getting it done in the AFL2. Okay Linfield posters, name your favorite Casey Allen t.d. catch. Mine was the 89 yard t.d. toss from Elliott vs. Willamette in 2005.

..wow...too many to remember but all were great. Maybe Wildcat11 can get a highlight tape of the Elliott to Allen connection. I just remember it looking so easy/natural when those 2 hooked up. I'm sure there was a lot of ground work that had to be done in the practice arena to make it look so smooth.
