The ADvantage keeps rolling along:

ADvantage Catdome: Sounds of Camp

B-Press,

Nice find.  I've been enjoying the depth of his blog entries.  I'd love to get that detailed but that is not my calling card.

M-Cat,

Just a couple of familiar players.  You have a ton of faces back and a great bulk of last year's Frosh class is back in camp as Soph.

11--great video--QB's looking pretty good, accurate throws for the most part.
Go Cats!

Holy Smokes!  Somebody take the Blue Jug away from GHC ASAP!  He's getting really loose and we haven't even made it to the first scrimmage.

I have sources in the Harbor that tell me GHC has been pilot testing new 'sideline' material on area teens:

Nice of them to post some film for Hirschberger to study  :)

For Willamette fans out there who want to keep an eye on our season-opening opponent, the Concordia athletics department is running a blog of the Cobbers' training camp.

D-Train,

I cannot confirm or deny that Gig Harbor Cat send me this video of him giving some Little League outfielder a hard time:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cq9nGBEYk64 .   Note: if you are offended by some blue language then skip this link.

The ADvantage has just posted Part I of a nice video piece:

ADvantage Catdome: Mic'd Up with Ian Estrada

Ian is a Senior Defensive End from Kailua, Hawaii and I tagged along with him for most of last Sunday's practice.

I wasn't working with a professional wireless mic as I just rigged up a voice recorder and matched to the video after the fact so we're not up to NFL Films standards in terms of audio quality but it still gets it done.

Well...Not up to NFL standards huh?  I guess we'll just have to put up with what you provide since your pay is also not up to NFL standards. ;)
Thanks 11!!

Wow...what a tradition....Ian is stepping into the defensive end position that so many great players from Hawaii have been a part of. Can't wait for the season to start!!

Two pieces up on the ADvantage today.  We have part II of Mic'd up with Ian Estrada and we take you Around the CatdomeO'sphere with news links from around the NWC and HSU/SOU.

The mic on Estrada is a nice touch. He looks like he got a lot skinnier.

Your site gets better all the time, 11. Thanks for all the work you put into it. I can't wait for the season to start!

GO 'CATS!

He'd probably rather have 5 or 6 pounds of noodles, gau gee, and mac salad, and wash it down with a gallon of guava juice.

To the Linfield insider gurus:

Where is last year's QB, Cole Franklin?

George

GO CATS!  GO!

George,

Cole did transfer to Oregon State to work towards a Engineering Degree.  From my understanding it was a a VERY hard decision for Cole but he felt he had to make the choice between football and his education field of choice.  As a 'Cat fan it stinks because he would have been a nice added dimension to the offense but I respect his decision 100%.  Good luck to Cole and he'll always be welcomed back if he misses football!

Wildcat 11,

Thanks for the update.

Gig Harbor Cat,

I would never have bet you.    You are way too smart and in-the-know for this country bumpkin.

George

GO CATS!  GO!
