  Yea the trip was awesome.  Would love to go fishing but I am sick with this crap that is going around so I have to lay low for now.  I am going to try and go to the Oxy game.. For now I will cheer for our Cats from home.

Great game for the cats...sounds like the offense was really clicking.   The D came out a little flat but seemed to settle down after the first few drives.  I'd say the biggest surprise for me was the secondary...especially the corners.  

Great coaching by the cats to come out in the 2nd half and really jump on the boys.  Enjoy it fellas but now its time to get ready for a long trip down to Oxy.

Attened Whitworth/La Verne final 21-7 Whitworth.  First Kickoff of game Nelson returned it but Adams came off limping and did not return rest of game.  I thouht it was a right ankle but rumor through stands was right achilles ?  Very Sloppy game especially La Verne.  With 4:59 left score was 7-3 Whitworth before Pirates took it in.

I've seen all four Cat's vs Hardin-Simmons games and this was the only one that wasn't close after halftime. While throughout the first-half one kept expecting H-S to "break-out" at any time and make life miserable for the Cats, it just never happened. The D did an outstanding job of containing Feaster (as much as anyone can contain him), and the O was a joy to watch.

I'm not sure that Rocketman was ever sacked .  If so, I probably missed it while in the restroom (aging male that I am). Typically, the QB stood back (head and shoulders above all others) and picked apart the H-S defense. Great job by the O-line!!!

Not quite. Very quiet.

I cannot believe neither the team or the fans were racous with 2 minutes left and the game in hand. Maybe just poilite but it was eerie. The heat had to be a factor.

Next week is just as big because it is an away game.

Never like to see a guy like Feater injured. Good guy.
