Does anybody know if Linfield will be wearing their "all white combo outfits" this weekend? Those look sharp!

Well, good to see that Linfield is back. ::)

Can we beat SOU?  Right now, my answer is a definite maybe.

That Linfield-Willamette game is starting to look more and more daunting for Bearcat Fan(s). WU's scoring average is way down in the first two games compared to last season, and Linfield's is way up. Overall I think that the WU freshman QB's performed well in the first two games, but there are still a lot of question marks on offense. Hopefully Whitcomb will be able to play the next few weeks and get some game time in. We've been waiting for over a year to really see him perform -  here's hoping we'll finally be able to see how the "real" Bearcats can perform with Ryan at QB.

Yeah, but I haven't even given that game a thought yet.  If I was a Bearcat fan I'd be thinking about that game down at SOU right now.  You know the Raiders are going to be jacked up for that game.

I'm pretty sure most Linfield fans are more worried about the start of a 4 game long road trip series than they are about mid-October.

Truth.  Even if SOU did lose by 24 to Portland State, their defense forced six turnovers against a Division I school.  That makes me extremely worried.

I've been tossing this idea around in my head for the last couple of days, but I really don't think I would mind if we gave Widing another shot at starting on Saturday.  That would give Whitcomb a full two weeks to recover and allow him to use La Verne as a fairly safe warmup for the NWC opener against Whitworth.  And if Widing plays with the same poise that he had last weekend, I feel okay about our chances.

Hey Oxy faithful,

Did your school finally spring to buy decent uni's.  The last time I saw them they could only afford a one inch square patch knock off of the Oregon St. "O".   I mean I'm all for simple uni's but that was just sad. ;D
Do you know what a JAIL BREAK is?

If any of you collect vinyl records may I recommend visiting Poo-Bah Record Shop. It's Pasadena's source for underground hip-hop, experimental, and other music since 1971. They are located at 2636 East Colorado Boulevard, between Vinedo and San Gabriel, next to the Guitar Center. Their hours are Monday through Saturday 10am-9pm, and Sunday 10am-7pm. I haven't been there in many years, but I used to drive to Pasadena to buy from them when I lived in Van Nuys.

dang if you guys would have up-graded to a G6 before the economy tanked I could have run you into a Chino private strip but you'll have to go to Burbank or Ontario with all the other execs.
