Island Cat:
My brother went to Kaimuki High while I attended Washington on King Street. The night before my oldest brother reported to the Army he paddled down the Ala Wai Canal on his surfboard out to the harbor (too many Primo beers). Have a safe flight and enjoy the Menlo game.

Island Cat, there are plenty of female athletes doing well on the Mainland, too!
Good to see they recognized some of the Linfield boys, including #93.

Do you Oregon guys realize that the majority of the names from Kahuku are Samoan? Punahou used to come steal the smart ones and give them scholarships. When I coached at Castle we'd get an occasional Samoan, but they were mostly the kids who had never seen a football before. They didn't understand the game, so we'd put them on defense and tell them to go get the guy with the ball. Times have no doubt changed since then.

Island Cat, you can go to the in-game updates thread tomorrow night if you want some company.

Good luck to ROCKETMAN and co.!

Yes, quite a few women athletes on the Linfield roster alone. They've always recruited here, but more so recently. And with Manti Teo's recognition, I think it's only going to get better for Hawaii athletes.

It looks like I'll miss the SOU game after all, I have to work to trade off for coming to the Menlo game. Oh well, I have to settle for stats, stills and some highlights.

Thanks for the offer though, I appreciate it.

Gig Harbor Cat

Its game day baby.  The Cats are off to Ashland-ville, I am sure there are extra purple frisbees for tonight, cause there going to fly big time.

SALTY D  Is healthy and ready to rock, yea I read how many fatties sou has on the O-line, means NADA.  Their usual big body, slow feet and lack of dicipline guys just take up space, our guys are going to hand them their lunch--which is somethin that the fatties will take and like it.

Hey WC 64,

So how much of your fortune are you putting on Puget Sound to upset WWater today?  When they pull off the upset you'll be able to recruit future Wildcats full time from your villa on the French Riviera. :-*

I've got an inside tip that the Loggers have some trick plays never seen before to stop em cold.   The Warhawks won't know what hit em after the Loggers roll em over.  :-X

(Now tell me I really didn't say that)

BTW is there any truth to the rumor that you are on the short list to be the Palin for Pres. in 2012 campaign manager?  You could recruit Wildcats all over the country and get the Sarah campaign to pay for it.  So when she wins being her Chief of Staff with just part time recruiting efforts you'd help make Linfield a force to make the Purple Raiders start trembling in their boots. Your future's so bright you've gotta wear shades.

Haven't had much time to post on the boards.  Back to helping people get rid of demon debt.
