:) :) :)What a great Saturday afternoon my teams had!!  Congrats, Linfield for beating SOU!!  D.O.C. has already promised that LC has softened SOU for their next game!!  Looks like the CATS are rolling along well this fall.  Let it keep on coming!!  BC won as well, but we played in the driving rain.  I couldn't believe I said through the whole thing, and even had to change my hoodie at half-time because it was soaked even though I had on my rain slicker.  I kept hearing my Mom's words (which is why I wasn't calling her) that I would get sick and all the germs would head straight for my new hip.  However, i got to hear the beautiful sound of the ringing of the bells after the win and all the hugs from my players and that made for a wonderful conclusion to a great afternoon, though whether I'll ever be warm or dry again is another story.  WC11--UPS over UWW, I think there was something in the water or something.  they prevailed and UMHB did as well.  So programs and people I like are going forward in this campaign and I hope it will continue!!  We begin ODAC play on Saturday next.  And it would be Hampden-Sydney, the biggest rival we have.  It should be a really difficult game.  I sure hope we're up to the task, and Ièm thinking positive thoughts!!  And for my Linfield friends, I say
GO!!  FIGHT!!  WIN!!  CATS!!!  THE TIME IS NOW AND IT IS YOUR MOMENT!!  REACH FOR IT!!

GO CATS! 54 IN '09!
Go Cats! Make it 62 in '17!

Cam Cat,

Sarah sends her love to the Cats around the world (I'm certain their is a Wildcat somewhere in Russia)!

Top Cat,

I'm glad to see you had a few extra tax dollars left in your expense account to fill up the Catmobile and head down I-5 to SOU.  Good job in cheering on the boys to victory.

I'm not too much into the polls.  Nice to be recognized but there are a couple of tough games on the horizon.  Menlo has always been tough on their home field even with some of the outstanding Cat teams of past years.  It's our first conference game and the Cats need to win on the road once again.   OXY played Menlo tough and we should expect no less.

GO CATS>>>LEAVE NO DOUBT!!!
LEAVE NO DOUBT

Linfield has a couple more tough road trips ahead in the next 2 weeks so I wouldn't pay much attention to the polls right yet..... (I did peek though  ;D )

I was surprised (pleased, but surprised) to see Linfield take such a jump.  I thought voters might now discount what (at the time) seemed like THE signature win: HSU is now 1-3.  I guess that plus @Oxy plus @SOU still struck the voters as an overall 'meat-grinder' schedule.  Congrats! :)

Perhaps, but Linfield did play, what, two and a half quarters against "the real HSU" and it's easier, I think, to believe Linfield is a top 10 team rather than Monmouth or Case based on what they've done in 2009.

Thanks, Pat it's always nice to get the wisdom from the Guru atop DIII Mount Olympus
that this is not likely just a 3 game fancy.

The top 25 is fun for the fans and posters to talk about but there is only one D3.com top 25 poll that matters...the one that is put out after the Stagg.  It's a great sign of respect but it doesn't mean much at this point if the 'Cats fall on their face in NWC play.

Well said, Pat Coleman.....
Don't forget your booties cause it's cold out there!

Lever Street

Forget the polls.  CATS need to take it 1 game at a time.  The only thing that matters right now is Menlo on Saturday.  Stay focussed CATS.

Go Wildcats!
You can't get to CatDome without seeing Lever Street.   Go Linfield!

Wildcat11...Bluenote or whoever....since you revised the above poll after I voted....I want to change my vote....No ACORN's here please.

This being the 40th anniversary of Woodstock might you be adding some secret ingredient to them that Alice B. Toklas might prefer?

Gig Harbor Cat

Actually thats not true   More to follow on how we are going to take apart Menlo

Touchdown Tommy

Nice win on Saturday 'Cats.  Sounds like the machine is rollin' downhill.

GHC: How is the fishing in the Harbor?  I hope you have graduated to snagging more than those little minnows I've seen in your pics....Pretty embarrassing, even your "inside source", agrees...

Whoa, Whoa, Whoa...TDT.  WC11 has one of the massive GHC King Salmon steaks on the menu for this week.  Things are going well for the 'Cats but we still have a long ways to go.  Glad to see the Johnnies having a good year too...this board is way more fun when both squads are rolling.  ;)
