Still waiting for that Team of the Week  ;)

Thanks to cawdad for his help. Been trying to bling bling my profile for 3 years.

Shhhh. I got no permission release.

....where's the folding chair?  ;)

Can't wait for the Menlo game and hopefully meeting some of you die hards. Look for a mini version of #93 (except bald and with a white beard), who looks lost and carrying a "omiyage" (gift) bag.

Until then... Go D!

Aloha,
Island Cat

PS. when it comes to classic beers—here in the Islands—we had Primo. It wasn't any good, but it was cheap and local!

I drank Primo when I was a poor student visiting the islands many moons ago. Island Cat, say hello to me, I'll be roaming the sidelines with a still camera in my face. Anyone else making the trip to the bay area? I missed many of you at Oxy.

Can you still find Raaaaaaaaaannnnnnnnnnieeeeeeeerrrrrrrr beer? My brother in law found an old can, with a screw top from circa 1940, inside the walls of a school he was doing modernization work on.

In Alaska it was Prinz Brau, heard it was bad, but that was before I was old enough.

At college the cheap stuff was BEER (the generic one), Rhinelander, or my favorite with the puzzles under the caps Regal Select.  Of course we never had ANY of that on campus because that was against the rules.

WC11 will be cutting it close this weekend.  I'm taking a SW flight and getting into San Jose Airport at 10:45.  I hope that I'll be able to get to Menlo right before kickoff.  Just hope that bird is ready to fly Saturday morning!

Take a deep breath....now...   (enunciate)        B R E W   1 0 2

I still look for the brewery when I have to be on the Santa Ana Freeway across from Union Station.

That is close, but sould just make it if the rental car line isn't too long.

Island Cat

cawcdad: I'll be on the look out.

SBB: The only thing thing I've tried from Alaska was King crab. Oh, wait, Alaskan Eskimo Pie, Baked Alaskan...,

And Bluenote; I don't know if i can say it here... isn't this a family oriented board?

Wildcat'64

Some of you "elder cats" seem to have a short memory......as you will recall there was a symbolic (and sometime real reason) to have 4 Dots on an Oly!  Oh those Olympia Brews were pretty fine when you popped the top and had 4 dots!!! Why else would you buy anything else?
LEAVE NO DOUBT

Island Cat

Sorry Bluenote: I misinterpreted your note, I thought you meant... (shows you where my minds at, ahem), oh never mind.
Yes, after we've p'd away the Primo, we'd buy quarts of Colt 45's. Another choice for those with Polynesian paralysis (too much sun, surf and sand in funny places).

And WC11, no worries you wont be late... you'll be on "Hawaiian time."

Go D!

'64, the dots! I'd forgotten about the dots. Were those on the Olympia labels?

Bohemian was another cheapie.

Speedy, of course you would never have any beer on campus. You were in the library studying.

OK, its time to focus guys.  After reading all of my insider information on Menlo here is my pick.

Cats are a +31 on this one,  in fact I have the SALTY D  pitching a shutout with at least 3 sacks.  ( three only as we need to keep existing sack records in place)

ROCKETMAN  will fill the bay area sky with purple frisbees.  This one is in the bank boys, Phone It In.

Cats 31-0  and I may be a little light on the Cat O.( It could go north of 31)
