Nice write-up of the LaVerne game, BCP. That was even more of a disaster than I thought.

It's too bad to miss a big reunion, though, and the team could surprise you.

QuoteTEAM OF THE WEEK 4
DB Derek Fisher, So., Linfield
Fisher equaled a Linfield single-game record with three interceptions, plus recovered a fumble as Linfield defeated Southern Oregon 37-21 on the road to improve to 3-0 for the first time since 2005.

I know that the Linfield DBs are athletic but I'm wonder how much longer Derek Fisher will be in our defensive backfield before he has to check into the LA Lakers pre-season camp?
You are asking a lot for me to know the names of NBA players.

I was able to name that player in 0.4 seconds.

Man, Coco, it's a good thing you hooked up with the Mrs. when you did.... ;)

Glad the 'Cats are taking care of business this season... would love to vacation in OR one of the first weekends in November....  ;D

Bubba Lemon picked off the Leopards' quarterback on the very first play of the game, setting up a short drive that ended with a Mitchell Rowan field goal.

Is that our Bubba?  When did he transfer?  I just checked the roster and realized there are no other Lemons on the team including Coach Lemon.  Wasn't coach Lemon there last year?  Where did he move to?  I wish him all the best, he was a great guy.

Nice write up BCP.  So much detail in it one would almost think it was the first time Willamette had ever placed their foot down for a monkey stomp.
97 players played!  Great for the young guys.

Yeah, safe travels to all. Injury free when it's all done.

I am amused by reading many boards lamenting their team's 1) injuries 2) penalties.
I figure NO ONE was amused the last three years with the WILDCATS not taking an automatic bid  or pool bid into the playoffs. I figure they were smirking and clapping like a 5 year old on Christmas Day.
We don't do that.

Great write-up on the La Verne game, BCP.  Much easier reading it here than on http://www.willamettecollegian.com  :-X

Both Bubba and Mikey Lemon transferred to Willamette.  George and Chase Lemon are now assistant coaches at Lewis & Clark.

Dutchie,

Mrs. C. learnt me culture.

We've noticed that Central is doing okay this year as well. Good luck to you folks with the rest of your season. I hate to look very far ahead, but a rematch with the Dutch someday would be awesome!

We are headed out at 5 today and can't wait to see the 'Cats take the Bay Area by storm!

Any video of this game? Does Linfield radio stream their broadcast online?

Can't wait to see all the 'Cat fans at the game.

GO CATS!!!
