Maybe not be digging on the PiWhits too much. At least they don't come here going on and on about their glory years year when they got that double overtime one point win over Stout.

coco...watching Monday Night Football reminds me of all the pink jockstraps Dusty used to hand out to you.

Ah, the pink jockstrap days. Those were classic. Our socks and towels were washed with some red stuff, too, and were a definite pink. You know, when that happens, they don't go ever back to white. They just stay pink.

DesertCat,
I'm thinking we'll be seeing you later.
Take good care of the twins.

I imagine that the Rats will be sky-high for the Cats this weekend....after all beating Linfield makes every team's season...but I wouldn't bet on Whitworth.
Don't forget your booties cause it's cold out there!

More small college tidbits from the O.  Ignore the stuff about Western Oregon and scroll down to read why Ryan Whitcomb could become a Bearcat legend by the time he graduates.  The kid is tough as nails.  Also, a little positive news for L&C before Saturday.

OK.

Sounds like we ran.
I believe they felt it was not good for them to play DIII teams. Thanks for letting us play you.

Yup...we ran right to a Top 25 DIII school down in LA.  Great decision by the athletic department.  I know that WOU has mentioned that in releases this season and that's fine...they can enjoy a shot at the Rotary Bowl.

I don't believe that's even possible now, read somewhere the Rotary Bowl has been terminated because of financial reasons. However, I did find a bowl game for WOU,  the Arctic Bowl, played at the North Pole on December 24th. Go Wolves!

The ADvantage has just posted up our game 5 preview and we better get to know Whitworth's Layton Brown and Linfield's Paul Partlow.

Game 5 Preview: 'Cats at Rats

D O.C.

$.02.

The offensive line has shown they can control the other team. I'd like to see a similar effort to Harden-Simmons where AB can look left, right, wave at mom, and then release to best target advantage.

Hey, I looked in the LINFIELD website to see who Drew Fisher is tied with at 3 interceptions in one game and I could not find that statistic.

Is Coach Smith one of them by any chance? Don't tell me the "basketball coach."

Here it is

Cats  28

rats   17   +11  Cats  ( I like the #11 for some reason)

The big boys are the difference makers this week.  O-line needs to root em out and dominate.  D line has better quick than the long hair ratties, and a whole lot of SALT

ROCKETMAN  WILL have the time to make the rattie db's look like school girls.

Its in the bank boys--  Phone it in !!

I will be mobile this weekend,  on a cruise up north with my spousal unit.  I will do my best to keep up on my Blackberry, while all the time looking interested in all of the beautiful scenery up in the islands.  Since she is a veteran spousal unit, I am sure to get busted--oh well--no biggie  eh punish me by sending me to a canadian sports bar to hang out with all of the hosers  EH !!!

Go get em Cats--Let the SALT and purple frisbees fly

I think that would be Paul Dombroski versus Lewis & Clark in 1977 or 1978. Dombroski later played in the NFL with New England and Tampa Bay, I believe he left pro football in the mid 1980s.

:) :) :)What a great Saturday afternoon my teams had!!  Congrats, Linfield for beating SOU!!  D.O.C. has already promised that LC has softened SOU for their next game!!  Looks like the CATS are rolling along well this fall.  Let it keep on coming!!  BC won as well, but we played in the driving rain.  I couldn't believe I said through the whole thing, and even had to change my hoodie at half-time because it was soaked even though I had on my rain slicker.  I kept hearing my Mom's words (which is why I wasn't calling her) that I would get sick and all the germs would head straight for my new hip.  However, i got to hear the beautiful sound of the ringing of the bells after the win and all the hugs from my players and that made for a wonderful conclusion to a great afternoon, though whether I'll ever be warm or dry again is another story.  WC11--UPS over UWW, I think there was something in the water or something.  they prevailed and UMHB did as well.  So programs and people I like are going forward in this campaign and I hope it will continue!!  We begin ODAC play on Saturday next.  And it would be Hampden-Sydney, the biggest rival we have.  It should be a really difficult game.  I sure hope we're up to the task, and Ièm thinking positive thoughts!!  And for my Linfield friends, I say
GO!!  FIGHT!!  WIN!!  CATS!!!  THE TIME IS NOW AND IT IS YOUR MOMENT!!  REACH FOR IT!!

Brownies for Film Day--Now there's a Slogan I can live with!!!:)  Go EAGLES!
