Gig Harbor Cat

Its game day baby.  the Cats get up on em early and keep their foot on the gas.

Cats are a +40 all day long against the hapless ups loggers (although their coach always rates them as a team with top 10 potential !!)

Let the purple frisbees fly.  Purple haze day
ROCKETMAN  Get er done,

Good job UPS.

PLU stay depressed.

Good Job UPS!

From listening to Dave and Tyler, it sounded as if your offense rose to the level of competition.

Congratulations Wildcats!

Conference Champs. A lock on the NCAAs.

Enjoy the spoils of victory today. Hammer the Bye like I know you will. Get ready for PLU. What have they got to lose? We have some much to gain.

Lost in things I love most: the Universe, a good woman, and LINFIELD FOOTBALL

Lever Street

Just returned from Catdome....

Cat O was awesome.  Unstoppable.

Cat D was terrible.  Need to get that fixed asap.

Go Linfield.
You can't get to CatDome without seeing Lever Street.   Go Linfield!

Luaville,

I'm liking that CATS SHINE IN 09! It has a nice ring to it.

Congrats to the team on today's win, even though it may not have been the prettiest one we've ever had. Now we have two weeks to get sharp for the Lutes.
Two words:  THE STREAK

spiritof86

the cat d is awesome. they simply faced a juggernaut.
Saturday will be the most epic tailgate ever, especially if my wife gives birth under the Quick-Shade.

Tuxguy

spiritof86,

I agree the "D" is real good, seemed to me they weren't ready
for all the passing UPS was doing.

I believe they threw more times in the first half than they had thrown all year. When the Logger Qb went down in the 3rd it was from throwing so many times! ;)

Boehme had another great day! What a touch, it was fun to watch!!

Rest ( You boys deserve it!) and get ready for the Lutes.

GO WILDCATS!
ONE GAME AT A TIME!
Only at a D3 football game could you have 2 seats on the 50 yard line (2 rows behind bluenote) and have an obstructed view!
I love D3 Football!!!

Is that Rhodes video of the Stagg Bowl you gave me? If so I need to dig it out and pass it along to Wildcat11.

Yes, that's the one.

The Cats gave up 36 points to Puget Sound? I'm thinking they may need to do a little more than "tune up" if the Stagg is even remotely in their sights. UWW has given up 26 ALL YEAR (8 games) in the 1st three quarters of games. (Their average lead going into the 4th quarter has been 33-3, so obviously the fourth quarter playing time has been dominated by backups. They have given up 30 pts in the 4th quarter)

My gosh, Puget Sound only scored 44 points TOTAL in 6 games before today!

Go Cats!

Amen.

1.   Linfield's Achilles heel was uncovered.    Hopefully, the coaches can plug the holes.

In eight games, they have held the opponents under 3 TDs only twice.    Tough opponents, granted; but still....?

Unfortunately, this game validates the questions of that first Regional Ranking.    The Wildcats, if they can slow PLU, should have one home playoff game; any more will be lucky.

2.   Or, the Loggers had the best offense on any 0-8 team I have ever seen!

GO, CATS, GO!
GO CATS! GO!

Touchdown Tommy

Right on the money as always George.  36 pts to an 0-8 team?  Yahtzee!!!

Linfield held HSU to 14 points before they scored a TD and 2 point conversion with no time left in the game against 2nd/3rd unit defense.  Again, Linfield held SOU to 14 points before they scored a meaningless TD with 15 seconds left in the game against 2nd/3rd unit defense.  Then, Whitworth got to 20 points in mop up time again (2:56 left in contest).

Yeah, the defense played horrible yesterday but they've been pretty damn good all year long and I'm not going to let a single bad performance take away from the job they've done all year long.  I remember the defense played horrible at UPS last year and then was nails vs WOU and then PLU to finish out the year.   I'll give our defensive staff and players the benefit of the doubt and chalk it up to a bad day.

Congrats to Linfield and the Staff on going 8-0 and clinching an NWC title and playoff spot.  Linfield fans appreciate all of your hard work and effort to bring home another conference title.
