Actually, I'm in Omaha until February...then return to Outer Mongolia....We do have a problem with the air over here during the winter.  400,000 people trying to stay warm in subzero temps, burning wood and coal in one small area...Maybe that's what's wrong with me. ;D

Bobo...the point is.....you guys won that game in the 2005 playoffs...but you weren't necessarily the best team...You were very fortunate to win.  I just like to keep bringing that up to remind everyone....cause this board isn't just about what's happening now.  Life has always been about the past, present and future.

:'(   :'(   :'(  I pity you cris...still harboring hurtful feelings over a game 5 years ago. See a therapist, cris. That was too good of a game for you to remember it so incorrectly. I've always liked Linfield after that game and it hurt me too that the 'cats slipped into a hibernation state year after year for 5 years now. Good to see the sleep is over, maybe we'll meet again this year...at the Perk(dome), this time. Hopefully, you can get over for it, it's only a short drive from Omaha, just ask Coach Leipold, he can give you directions!! ;)

BTW, are you and your friends in Outer Mongolia also responsible for all the yellow dust that pollutes our sky here in Korea, gets into our eyes and nasal passages and gives us multiple breathing problems? That's for nothing!!  :D ;)

Cris,

If you listen to Leipold you'll wind up over at the UWW soccer field.  He has a tendency to send people out that direction. :)

WC11,

Great article on "Advantage Catdome", good analysis. I would only change one thing, I think you know what that is. Enjoyed the read though! See you Cats Saturday in the puddles. Hopefully there will be more LU representation at the game than on these boards...sheesh  ;)

Thanks, Pat! Worth the wait.

OldCatProf and RedandPurple,

Olinemom will be represented at the Catdome on Saturday. Tux, are you going to be there?
Glad to hear it. :) We'll be listening down here in Peoria, AZ.
I don't miss the slow drive through Dundee. :D
Enjoy the game everybody.
Go Cats! Make it 62 in '17!

BoBo....thanks for your concern...Actually I do see a therapist...couldn't live without Him.
Don't forget your booties cause it's cold out there!

Gee, I hope CLU folk do not get confused...UnAccuweather sent me this:

Weather is going to be rotten.
Storms are lined up...60/70mph winds on the coast, Astoria/Tillamook got 3 to 4" of liquid sunshine in a 24hr period.

I highly doubt anyone could say who the best team on the field that day was.  With ELEVEN lead changes, those teams were two of the most equally talented and impressive teams I have ever seen.  Fortunate?  I guess you could say that because the team that won that day was going to be the team that happened to be ahead at the buzzer.  Had it been the Cats, they would have been equally as fortunate.  I will give you one thing though.  You definitely had the best QB.   ;)

The best of luck this weekend.  I am pulling for you guys to win the West.  Would love to payback some great hospitality in the Perk parking lot if we get the chance to meet again.    :-*

OxyBob's Key to the Game: Weather or no weather, CLU cannot let Linfield get up 2 scores early, or the Kingsmen will be meat.

OxyBob's Travel Tip: For all Cal Lutheran fans who will be at the game, don't stand in one place too long in the damp Oregon air or you'll be covered with moss in no time.
