Early on Turkey day...Wildcat practice in the cold, wet Northwest.
Spring tension is on the wind-up to optimum.
I wasn't quite ready until this morning; but now that the practice is in the can and everyone is off to enjoy family and friends it's time to get on the phone...

BE THERE!!!

Happy Thanksgiving to all!!!  Take care of business this weekend. I hope to host the Cats at the Perk and pay back your wonderful hospitality if we both keep winning. Nothing against the Cru, great fans and program, but been there, done that.............. a few times!   ;)

Hey, don't be bitter.  We do have a great program for only 11 years of existence!
Watch out for the wreckingCRU defense!!

Wow, not much respect around these parts, huh?[/quote]

With due regard for your feelings, wishes, rights, or traditions, I certainly respect your desire for wanting the Cru to prevail.  Having the Cats score 28 first quarter points is not unusual. It's happened to good teams with more than eleven years of well-earned tradition. Strange occurrences happen while in the Catdome. Visitors are overwhelmed by the spaciousness of the facility; they develop an illusion as if they're playing outdoors. And before you know it....  the D has given up 28 points.

Linfield knows how to win... We also know how to respect another fine team. I cannot speak for all CATS, but the anticipation and excitement by the posters on this board of the game being played demonstrates plenty of respect for the fine team from Texas. Nevertheless...

35 first quarter points?

28 by the Cats ?

Actually, I think the posters on this board have shown UMHB nothing but respect so far this week.  We all know that if the 'Cats don't play their best game then our boys won't be moving on.  The Cru is that good but at the same time Linfield fans know we're not too shabby either.

Okay, something to do while waiting for tomorrows Linfield game. We all know
college football is a sport of traditions -- some old, some new. Some of these are Howard's Rock, the Little Brown Jug, Floyd of Rosedale, Touchdown Jesus, The Ramblin' Wreck car and many more.

Linfield posters: I challenge you to list your favorite Wildcat football tradition(s). It could be something that is unique to yourself, to the program, at a tailgate, or the night before the game. My favorite, pretty tame compared to what some of you do, was to show up 30 minutes before the gates opened and once they did I'd buy a cheeseburger and a soda, watch the players warm up and then my son would come over and give my wife and I a big hug. After that I'd walk the track 3 times and then take my seat.

Gig Harbor Cat

Sunny skies today.  Shorts and flop flops will work just fine.

As if we need more fickin food at this time,  11 and I will be hitting it at the Deluxe.  Insider info will flow, along with all predictions that matter.
We may even throw some purple frisbees around the bar as a warm up for tomorrow.

Ya never know

TDT--If we go another round I will be happy to pick you up at SeaTac on Friday.  Its a 4 hr ride to the Catdome from there.  Are you sure you can't fly in to PDX?

Anyway, we have some business to take care of tomorrow before any plans can be made

Good afternoon GHC,

TDT just stopped by the office for a briefing.  I will be scouting the Tommies vs Kohawks game for you tomorrow afternoon in St. Paul with OneArmedScot.  If things go according to plan, TDT will have you on speed dial Saturday night to coordinate details.

Any truth the hot rumor outta McMinnville that you were camping outside Wal-Mart all night with your Blue Jug for that $3 crock pot and the $246 TV??  Hope the Benz could hold it...
