Linfield has traditionally have tough games with the MIAC schools they've faced and this should be no different.  UST is going to be another huge challenge.

And as an out-of-conference poster so kindly informed us, the games DO get tougher the deeper we go into the playoffs. What a concept!

I still don't know what a Tommie is, but I do know that this is The Year of the 'Cat.

CatDad,
Your boy did a fine job on Saturday. He threw some bullets and had some nice runs, too.

I've gotta believe that our experienced playoff coaching staff will be the big difference in this upcoming battle with the Tommies.  I don't care how talented the Tommies and coaches are.....they don't have much experience.  Experience Score:
Wildcats - Very Experienced
Tommies - Little Experience

Lets see, I believe the Neanderthal was very experienced, Homo Sapiens very little.
What ever happened to the Neanderthal anyway???

Thanks coco... I appreciate it.... he's loving being involved with a group of buddies that would run through a wall for each other... and he's just doing his share....

GO CATS!!

I'm not responding to the poll on the top here because I probably won't get to watch.  My wife is planning a surprise party for my 40th b-day on saturday @ 2 cst.  ( Don't tell her, but I've known for a few months ;) )  I will be pulling for LC and if I get a chance to watch after the party, I'll be there yelling for the wildcats.
My wife and I are Alumni of both UMHB and HSU.  You think you are confused, my kids don't know which Purple and Gold team to pull for.

Since my favorite team didn't do so well this year you might not want me on me on your bandwagon.  That's OK, I'll just run along side.

GO LINFIELD!

Luckily for St. Thomas, a "Tommie" is a tomcat. :o

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the families and friends of the four police officers gunned down in Parkland, Washington (Home of Pacific Lutheran University). What a shame.
Go Cats! Make it 62 in '17!

You know, when we watch football, we concentrate on the quarterback, the running backs and the receivers which is only normal, but I want to give a lot of credit to the offensive linemen, the defensive lineman and backs that make it all happen. Thanks you guys for a great season, and a lot of hard work. Give em hell Saturday, and Get-er-done. Love ya.

GO LINFIELD!

We've got room for you warthog. Welcome aboard. :)

From the ST. Thomas football Web page:

The other Cats

Most know: This week's opponent, the Linfield Wildcats, won the 2004 Division III football championship.

Some know: Linfield has the longest streak of consecutive winning seasons – 54 – in all of college football.

Few know: Linfield plays in a remodeled stadium (aka the "Cat Dome") with a charming (my emphasis) 81-year-old covered grandstand.

Never thought I'd read/hear the word charming when talking about football. :D

That's ust(D) for you.   :D
Everyday is payday in paradise.

Gig Harbor Cat

RP,
They got the guy that did the shooting in Parkland.  Agreed makes no sense.  The guy that ownes the Forza chain is a friend of mine from here in the harbor.  Retired Gig Harbor police officer.
Too close to home for me, I was in one of his Tacoma Forza locations for coffee last week with a friend of mine.
  I guess you never know--do you !

Peace Out

GHC,

Where did you see that they caught the guy? Yahoo reports that he wasn't in the house where they thought he was.

Touchdown Tommy

Ok GHC time to pass the collection plate.  Your biggest 'Cat fan in the MIAC...OneArmedScot...has informed TDT that he can't make the trip as the flights to Portland are north of $900.  I know you 'Cat fanatics will do just about anything to get OAS out to slobber all over your squad.  Make it happen!

Next, TDT has facetiously been referred to as USTTDT during this postseason for my prediction that the Tommies would beat the Johnnies in Round 2 in Cville.  We all know the J's didn't even make it to Round 2.  On Saturday, I was at St. Thomas watching the Tommies dismantle Coe (along with several Johnnies).  It was a vicious, cruel, and brutal beatdown.  Man vs Child so to speak.  I've seen the Tommies play 4 times this season.  TDT knows how you like insider info GHC.  Your main man TDT has the dirt on the Tommies.

Lastly, I am on the fence right now as far as an appearance in McMinnville (lots of miles).  Things that could sway the decision include Will 11 roll out the red carpet for TDT?  Are the girls pretty in Oregon?  Will Kelly Bird give TDT a press credential for his reporting with JohnnieFootball.com? and How much cold beer will 11 have in his fridge?
Chasing MILFs since '82...

D O.C.

I read on-line the Neanderthal got to St. Paul, was content with not moving farther West, and eventually devolved into some sort of snow raptor.

How 'bout the added attraction of the Civil War Thursday night in Eugene?

Still waiting for your scouting report and fan response from O'Shaughnessy Stadium.

www.JohnnieFootball.com readers want to know.  Heck, you can even throw in a few thoughts about Elin and Tiger.... it's the off-season.
