Good to hear from your Coco.  We have, indeed, been avoiding you guys the last couple of years.  Even sadomasochists get bored with their submissives for extended periods.  We'll drag you guys from the cellar again one of these years.   ;)  I do envy the St. Thomas fans who are going to make the trip.  They'll have fun out there, regardless of how their team does.   They are a good team and are much, much improved from recent years.  However, I think Linfield Program will just have too much for them:  a boat load of talent this year, the program has a lot of playoff experience, etc.   I understand that your kicking game may be your only weak spot.  I think SJU would have gotten worked, too, this year but I would have gotten another sweatshirt.

BTW, what's with the all purple uniforms?  First the Seahawks go all green and now its a virus spreading around the PNW?  Is every program going to the CFL-style uniforms?  You guys need to get back to the white pants.  Those uniforms looked awfully sharp.

Good luck to Linfield this next weekend.  I sure wish you guys were coming to St. John's for another round of fun.  It's good to see Linfield back in the thick of things after a couple of non-Linfield-like years.  St. Thomas is a good team with pretty decent running and passing games so don't take them lightly.   Keep up the good and rabid smack.  The CatDome is a real fun place to watch a football game.

Thanks, Chewey.
I wish we could have hosted SJU out here again. The result likely would have been different this year. Why do you guys duck us when we're strong?

The coaches won't overlook the tommies. Smith and Co. are masters and will have the players ready to go. If our guys play half as well as they did last Saturday, we'll be fine.

Olinemom,
Hope you had a nice Thanksgiving and enjoyed the break from school.

Nice write up by Wildcat11 on the stealth pre-game story ;D....Sounds to me like this might be a replay of the 1999 Stagg Bowl with two different teams.  I remember a huge Rowan team with all kinds of big numbers who got man handled by a smaller, fiestier, quicker and better coached football team.

Linfield 35
UST 17

UST could jump out to a quick lead with the Cats adjusting and pulling even in the middle of the 3rd quarter...and breaking away in the 4th while winning the turnover battle and superior team conditioning and coaching.  Then again it really could be a replay of the 1999 Stagg Bowl where Rowan was in serious trouble from their first snap of the ball...and things just got worse.

Bonus Score:
Nebraska 23
Texas 20

Nebraska's defense and stellar punter wins it for the Huskers.  You heard it here first.

Sorry Olinemom, I left my bracelet in Mongolia...but it's safe.
Don't forget your booties cause it's cold out there!

From what I've observed, the Cats wave is still coming in and has yet to break....And we're all just going along for the ride.  Surf's up....Cats are rollin 8)

I think the Cats wear all purple about once a year, as an alternate look, I have no problem with it. Big difference between the solid purple uniform and the current crazy striping pattern you see with teams like the Buffalo Bills and University of Arizona.  Oregon takes it to the worst level, IMO.

Ticket to the game Saturday?

What's up?

Chewey,

I make no effort to hide that I'm very anti all-purple uniform that the 'Cats bust out once a year.  Hate it.  I'm 100% on the Purple Top, White pant, white shoes w/ red trim.  Always looks sharp.  Wouldn't mind seeing the 'Cats bust out a alt. red top but I don't have 10K laying around to outfit the team in those and I'm sure they would want to use that money for something else.

A red top for a big NWC home game could be a real advantage....It might totally confuse the opposition.

So it's Wednesday and I'm the only person who isn't sure the game Saturday will have a video cast. The LINFIELD web site lists video/audio but I do not want to assume.
D O. C.:
The game is listed as both watch/listen on the stretch internet site. :)

USTBench

Well guys, I'm sorry UST doesn't rep quite as well as SJU...but then again, we haven't really been here before. I would love to get out west see the Catdome and tailgate with Gig Harbor Cat, Wildcat 11, UST's biggest fan TDT, et al. But unfortunately it's not in this law student's finals schedule or budget right now.

That being said, hope it's a great game and hopefully UST gets back and gets to see Linfield again in the future.

Chewey, Chewey, Chewey, what happened to you, buddy?
Here I thought you were a just a nice bankruptcy attorney and now you're talking about sadomasochism and submissives. You've been hanging out with TDT, haven't you?

I hope you're right about the 'Cats being too much for the Tommies. They look pretty dang big.  Does UST travel as well as SJU does?

As long as the Wildcats don't wear red pants and purple tops, or the other way around, I'm okay. The white pants with purple top is the best look, IMO, but they don't let the fans decide.

Sorry, but we are a little light on the travel budget right now. I will watch online and see the winner at UWW, presumably.

How do the Linfield faithful feel about the upcoming game with St. Thomas?
And what about a trip to Wisconsin against UWW, what are the Wildcats chances if they advance to the semis?
