Kicking in the $25 is for a one way ticket for usTDT isn't it?

He's going to have to do that without my help, or use the $350 he was going to spend flying on the Tommie charter.
We just had our house re-roofed and our dog had a $900 surgery today, so my wallet is a little light.

I figured the SJU posters would be lined up like ants with their checkbooks in hand, but not so.

I like the Linfield posters....I'll kick in $25 for TDT to stay in MN and not bother them...

It's Official!!!!

TDT has his tickets in hand and will be in Oregon tomorrow morning.  Word has it that he is looking forward to having burgers and beers at the Deluxe at 6 p.m. with his friends WC11, GHC, and Bluenote.

He's also trying to get in touch with Pat to see if he wants him to provide any reports back to d3football.com on Saturday.  The only problem is that he can't send Pat a PM through the site as he has been locked out from doing so. 

I would respectfully request that his ban be lifted so that we may be enlightened by his commentary.

To the Linfield faithful that will meet TDT - Please make sure that you make him feel welcome by talking about his mother's coat that he likes to wear as well as his murse (man's purse) that he is planning to purchase soon.  Pink is his favority color, although recently it has been purple.

Good luck to both teams on Saturday.  It should be one hell of a game.

TDT has told me that he thought he was going to be able to make it but is now officially not going to be headed out. 

It appears that TDT ran into an extra $150 charge that he is not willing to pay on top of redeeming 35000 miles for his tickets.  I chipped in $25 bucks so we only need to raise $125 more to make him man up (if that is possible) and reserve his tickets.  I told him that if he were to write an article for johnniefootball.com about his visit to the wonderful Catdome (I was there for the SJU/Linfield game back in 2002) that maybe some of the Linfield faithful would part with a few dollars to make his trip possible.  Any takers out there? 

If TDT is still game www.JohnnieFootball.com, his own personal media outlet, is willing to chip in also.  After all, he's earned it.

Yes, indeed.  Do you see how warped slogging in bankruptcy law for 15 years gets you?  TDT is a bad influence, to be sure.  I haven't been the same since the Gustavus/SJU game.  I guess I had better start bathing in tomato juice or boiling Holy water.  I am not sure how well STU fans travel.  For your city's and school's sakes, you had better hope that there aren't too many of them.  I would sooner have the Taliban at Clemens Stadium rather than  Tommie fans.  Seriously though, they are pretty good.  They are pretty big and they are good at the skill positions and they are, overall, a pretty skilled team.  I just think Linfield, based upon what I know from having closely followed the program from afar this year, has more depth and more skill and more playoff acumen/experience.  They are a tough, physical team but greater skill and quickness usually wins out over brute toughness/force, unless you're the 1996 SJU team playing UW-LAX on a God-awful field that has turned into absolute quicksand.  That team should have made it to the finals that year and they were 4 TD's ahead, I believe, at the start of the 4Th 1/4 or midway through the 3rd 1/4 or something like that.  The field turned into more mush and they got pushed around and were beaten.

Good to hear from your Coco.  We have, indeed, been avoiding you guys the last couple of years.  Even sadomasochists get bored with their submissives for extended periods.  We'll drag you guys from the cellar again one of these years.    I do envy the St. Thomas fans who are going to make the trip.  They'll have fun out there, regardless of how their team does.   They are a good team and are much, much improved from recent years.  However, I think Linfield Program will just have too much for them:  a boat load of talent this year, the program has a lot of playoff experience, etc.   I understand that your kicking game may be your only weak spot.  I think SJU would have gotten worked, too, this year but I would have gotten another sweatshirt.  

BTW, what's with the all purple uniforms?  First the Seahawks go all green and now its a virus spreading around the PNW?  Is every program going to the CFL-style uniforms?  You guys need to get back to the white pants.  Those uniforms looked awfully sharp.  

Good luck to Linfield this next weekend.  I sure wish you guys were coming to St. John's for another round of fun.  It's good to see Linfield back in the thick of things after a couple of non-Linfield-like years.  St. Thomas is a good team with pretty decent running and passing games so don't take them lightly.   Keep up the good and rabid smack.  The CatDome is a real fun place to watch a football game.

I wish we could have hosted SJU out here again. The result likely would have been different this year. Why do you guys duck us when we're strong?

The coaches won't overlook the tommies. Smith and Co. are masters and will have the players ready to go. If our guys play half as well as they did last Saturday, we'll be fine.

I hope you're right about the 'Cats being too much for the Tommies. They look pretty dang big.  Does UST travel as well as SJU does?

As long as the Wildcats don't wear red pants and purple tops, or the other way around, I'm okay. The white pants with purple top is the best look, IMO, but they don't let the fans decide.
