That's a stretch... The guy from boise was talking trash after winning. Should he have gotten punched for it? No. But he wasn't just standing around and got hit like a lot of people made it out to be. If you run by a guy you just beat in an intense game, slap him on the shoulder pads, and talk trash, you might get punched. Win with class and you don't have to worry about it. How you relate that situation to rape confuses me. Let's not take attention away from what is really important - Good luck this week linfield, the west is pulling for you.

Gray Fox

He was kicked off the team.  Somehow he has resurfaced just when the Rose Bowl is on the line.  What hypocrisy at Oregon.   :(

You folks out there in Oregon know how to put on a football game.  I need to be at work early tomorrow morning, but I'm not going to bed until the Ducks and Beavers settle this thing.

p.s. - GO LINFIELD!

Thursday night. Still waiting for Saturday. At least I know I am leaving tommorow for Mac Town. Hope to be in around 5pm. Can't wait to see all of you at the Deluxe.
Looks like the Ducks are going to the Rose Bowl. Glad to see an Oregon team there. Good omen for the Cats. Ducks at Rose Bowl, Cats at Stagg Bowl, sounds good. One game at a time. So lets go Cats and whop the Tommies. Remember Defense wins Championships, Offense wins games.

No doubt this was in reference to the Monrovia Wildcats who are 12-0 and in the semifinals tomorrow night--but still, a great omen! :)  I was hoping my alma mater had stayed in it, but they got beat last week--they are the only team to play the green and white wildcats very close this year though....
Go Cats!

Well, I'm just headed out the Hotel door to the airport here in Dallas, (work in Dallas, live in Minnesota). I'll fly up to Minneapolis, pick up my Wife Sue, change planes and off to Portland together, (she hates to fly alone-big baby!). We should get into Portland around 1pm.

I'm hopin' you guys will have some sort of get together in McMinnville for all of the fans? We'll stay in Portland till Monday, (Celebrating a Tommie Victory), before back to Minneapolis, drop Sue off, then back down to Dallas/Fort Worth.

See You Friday Nite or Saturday at the Game. Looking forward to meeting some of you in the Great North West.

Goooooooo Tommies!!!

Best Wishes for the Cats from a Whitworth Rat.......

While sitting in a downtown pub in Anchorage, Alaska this evening watching the Civil War game with a group of friends, a 'Rat' player from a decade ago walked up to the table, recognized me and yelled GO WILDCATS.....and then proceeded to tell the guys that we were watching a couple teams who had lost a game or two but the real undefeated team in Oregon was Linfield.  Believe it or not, I sat quietly as a Whitworth Rat talked about how great the Wildcats were and how they were really the best football team in the State of Oregon (obviously he had one too many adult beverages at that point in the evening).  Still it was nice to here even a Rat pulling for the Cats this weekend.

You're doing a lot of traveling, WinterHawk. Maybe you'll want to visit Dallas, Oregon on your trip out here. It's quite the garden spot.

Good Rat story, '64.
That was a heck of a game tonight.

Dutchie and Warty,
Thanks for the support from Iowa!

Early AM Fri
Going to pack up the old heap, hit the office in the harbor for a couple of hours then its off to Vancouver on business then on to the Deluxe for the weekly insider meeting.  Not sure on the status of TDT.  If he does catch a flight in, Im sure I will pick his sorry ass up and drag him down to the Deluxe as well for a DD fries and beers with Wildcat 11 and the gang.
Going to have to watch me speed on 5 as I have special cargo in back for the tailgate.  Ole blue will be loaded with super high octaine longies plus I am adding a mystery kicker for the tailgate tomorrow.
Again, for you Tommies our tailgate area is in the area by the Linfield player bus.  There will be several tailgates going on by 9 or so.
We will treat you right

Welcome to the dark side, where the purple frisbees fly, where your boys will be hit so hard , they will cry like schoolgirls.

Salty D will have another huge day in front of the Catdome crowd.  ROCKETMAN will torch the Tommie dbs all day long-- this one may be over early folks.

Let get this party started.  I'm outta here

GO CATS -ONE GAME AT A TIME

It was disappointing Oregon State couldn't hold the lead last night, with the Linfield influence on the coaching staff, I was rooting for the Beavers to win. It's
interesting to note that Linfield is the only college in the state of Oregon which has ever won a national title(s), in football. I would think it's rare for any D3 school to hold that distinction for their individual state.
