ADvantage Catdome = Linfield Post Game Interviews (UST Game): Offense

WC11,

Great job once again. Thanks for all the work you do. Big week ahead. UWW will be a chore. But, the 'Cats have what it takes to bring them down. Heres to a healthy week for the 'Cats. CATDOME baby!
The great blessing of mankind are within us and within our reach; but we shut our eyes, and like people in the dark, we fall foul upon the very thing we search for, without finding it

The Cat bridgade will be hauling buckets of ice at practice this week...all receivers and QB's will be soaking hands and drinking iced gatorade on the sidelines ;D
Don't forget your booties cause it's cold out there!

Weather report for Mcminnville for the week is: Lows, low to mid 20s. Highs 30-35.
Prep should not be an issue.

Go Cats!!!!!!

Some people who live in a particular region of the country noted for cold weather think that automatically gives them a major advantage in a big game. Barring significant winds and snow, I just don't see how the Warhawks gain any big edge aside from the fact they will be at home, and Linfield is a great road team. The projected temps of partly sunny with highs in the 20s would have been a factor if WW was playing a team from California, Texas, or the southeast. It's not like we're talking about the Ice Bowl, and Bob Hayes of the Cowboys running pass patterns with his hands tucked in his pants. Even if the actual weather on game day worsens, I think it would be a mistake for any WW fan to get overconfident, we're talking about the national semifinals here. They could be just as wrong as the ESPN analysts who were predicting Texas to crush Nebraska.

I don't think many people who know what they are talking about thinks that the cold is going to affect Linfield more that Whitewater....that's just silly  :P

I agree....the fact the warhawk logo is at midfield should give us an advantage more than the cold is going to.

It's like 51 degrees here! and there's like water all over the ground! and like more coming from the sky! and you can't even see the sun!

Bingo...that's a major edge for Whitewater...home field.

BTW...just plunked down the duckets and I'll be headed out to Whitewater on Friday AM.  Looking forward to it!

Good morning GHC.  TDT is back in the game.  Are you making the trip from SEATAC to MKE or ORD this weekend?  I've got a commitment on Friday evening, however, there is a chance that I hop a bird to MKE on Saturday morning or awake at the a$$ crack of dawn to drive to Whitewater in order to give the readers of JohnnieFootball.com a look behind the scenes of the National Semifinals.

11: What is your itinerary for the weekend?  Let me talk to OAS about his plans.

Ya its pretty wierd, no one out here knows how to act when this kind of stuff happens...  water belongs in the ocean, in front of sand, below sun, submerging bikinis...

As far as Cali/Tex/Southeast teams not being able to handle the cold!? What??? Well ... I agree. That would be a huge disadvantage, as some of the guys I played with had not seen snow before, and struggled in games where freak rain or sub 70 degree weather came into effect. Linfield though I'm sure will be fine. I don't know cold, but I froze my ass off there.

Linfield seems like the type of squad that is prepped to do what they have to do, to continue to win. I will admit I didn't buy the "hype" of the purple frisbees, and the Rocketman, and the legend of jiggles, etc. But what I saw was a pretty damn good football team that if they keep rolling could roll right past WW in a close one.

Hope it happens, think it would do huge things for the "West" (meaning actually on the west side of the country, not "West" of Ohio).

Good Luck this weekend fellas
