Any charter flight for the fans, I wonder? Or waiting for the Stagg Bowl to do that again?

My thoughts on this weeks game:

Whitewater has played very consistently on both sides of the ball this season.  Linfield has had less consistency but have come up big when the need to.  I think they are going to need to play a great game but if they do then they should be able to hang with and/or beat any team they face.  A lot has been made about Linfield's D being questionable and Whitewater's D being strong and I agree with the statistical validity of that argument but the same argument could be made about Cal Lu, MHB, and St. Thomas to and the end result was Cats winning and putting up quite a bit of points against teams which, until the faced the Cats had held opponents to low scores.  Point being--what happened up until this weekend doesn't matter this weekend.  Should be a heckuva game--I hope both teams show well and that everybody stays healthy.  Looking forward to the webcast and not having to wait till noon to see it-10:00 AM start is the one upside to the Cats traveling this week!
Go Cats!

"Mount Union will beat Wesley by at least 4 touchdowns probably more. "  I think that Wesley's experience in the playoffs have got to get them more credit than that....we'll see.
Don't forget your booties cause it's cold out there!

I believe the poster who said this is a UW-W fan and considering that we beat Wesley in the Semi-Final in 05,  58-6 and in 06,  44-7, whether an accurate assumption or not, I think you can understand why the Wolverine's football prowess didn't earn a lot of respect around the Perk.   ;)

Here is another link that will have the game for free on Saturday.  At least, all the play-off games have come with no charge so far. It is not listed right now but it is still early in the week.

George-

Any idea on the question I posed earlier about the ref standing over the ball to delay play after we lined up for the punt and then ran our offensive unit onto the field?
Bubs, I e-mailed one of the officials. I didn't ask it the way you presented, but I think this will answer your question.

My questions:  A question regarding the fake punt by Linfield near the end of the game. If they
had become set, could they have snapped the ball before UST was finished making
their change?

Side Judge's Response: No, Linfield has to allow the defense to match up,
If there is a delay because of the substitution it is a penalty on linfield.

I have no idea.  My rule knowledge is not that good any more.   Too many changes over the years.

A very strange and entertaining play and it worked like a charm.

That's the one to watch.

To answer the question from earlier this week, I got confirmation that our crew (me and Joe Davis) will be the ones calling the game there.

Just having fun 6t.

We all know the game will be decided on the field. UWW fans have all the respect in the world for Linfield. Linfield fans have all the respect in the world for UWW. It's just fun pointing to things we think can make a difference for the team. I didn't smack the Rocketman at all. I was just saying he's going to have to be pretty good because the UWW D is pretty good. Besides, he's now known as "The Big Difference!"   :D
