Hey! Thanks to BCP for showing the schedule that has the playoffs.

Here is another first class facility down here in TX.  This is a Six-Man football field.  Home of the Zephyr Bulldogs, the finest six-man football facility in the Nation.

Field Turf comes to small town football.  It's not quite finished yet, but it sure is nice.

Bearcat Press....thanks for the schedule update. I'll be attending the WU vs SOU Game on the 18th. Can't miss a good live game near the CatDome when the 'Cats are out of town. Hope to see you there!

I must say I had to run back several times those two highlighted blocks on the punt return where not looking up-field when one turns their body came home to roost.
Do I understand those situations were one of Wildcat11's perks to all the mundane trench play?

Silicon Valley MercuryNews.com: Judge sentences Menlo College football players to hard time

Two (former) Menlo College football players who prosecutors say seriously injured two baseball players from the school during an alcohol-fueled fistfight will serve hard time, attorneys said Monday.

San Mateo County Superior Court Judge Susan Etezadi sentenced 21-year-old Benjamin Kain-Williams on Friday to one year in jail and three years of supervised probation, said San Mateo County Chief Deputy District Attorney Steve Wagstaffe. She also sentenced 25-year-old Darrell Allen Willis to six months in county jail.

........

Kain-Williams and Willis were arrested in January 2009 following a melee on Glenwood Avenue, which stemmed from an argument between football and baseball players at the British Bankers Club on El Camino Real in Menlo Park, prosecutors said last year.

Follow-up:

Last October, both defendants pleaded no contest to felony assault, with a great bodily injury enhancement for Kain-Williams.

Kain-Williams' attorney, Jeff Hayden, has said his client struck Snyder but didn't intend to hurt him so badly. The victim fell to the ground after getting punched, he said.

Menlo College expelled both defendants last year, Hayden said. The defendants will go to jail in early June so they can finish the school year at their new colleges.

"These are all upstanding college students with good grades," Hayden said. "These people all had promising futures. It's a sad, sad case."

Right. "...upstanding college students..." Are you kidding me? They get to finish school before they go to jail? Kain-Williams was a linebacker. He left Menlo and enrolled at Redlands and is listed on their roster as a d-lineman.
