Just my opinion, I think coach Jeff Thomas will make UPS comprtitive in the NWC in the next few years

Competitive...sure but a player in the conference...that's another story.  Linfield and Willamette are not going anywhere base on the recruiting they've been doing the past few years and Whitworth has shown they are always going to be right there too.

Does any body have any predictions for NWC Next year.....

I'm thinking:

Linfield
Willamette
Whitworth
PLU
Menlo
UPS
Lewis & Clark
Pacific
George Fox

;D

GHC....thanks......I knew I was missing somebody there!  :D

Can't help you. I never think beyond Linfield. ;)

ADvantage Catdome: Linfield wraps up week 2 of spring ball

Will Linfield be the best in the West region this year and how many starters are returning?

Wow...that's a tough question as I think once again the West will be loaded with a number of contenders (UWW, UST, SJU, CalLu, Willamette, Central, Coe).  The 'Cats are going to be in the mix for sure with 8/9 starters back on defense.  The offense has some studs to replace but I'm pretty sure the offense is going to be just fine.  :)

Looks as though Willamette will be their biggest competitor in the NWC conference!

What poll and where did you see it?

Simple prognostication for any poll in 4 months is all. The WEST will pick up where it left off.

WC11 - Thought that Slezak was a senior in 2009? Did he get a medical redshirt?

RedandPurple

Okay, okay, I know it's not football related and I'm ready to accept any good natured kidding about my choice of television programs, but Linfield College was just mentioned on tonight's episode (Monday, 4/26/10) of Wheel of Fortune. One of the contestants is from Wilsonville and has a daughter attending Linfield. The daughter's name is Sammi Easterly. I don't know the original date the show was taped, but Sammi ran track in high school. I assume she was on the Linfield Track and Field Team. Anyone know her?

Andy,

I'm 99% sure it's a medical redshirt but he'll be back along with Heston at OT.  That's huge on multiple fronts
