Linfield sports has just press released the program's second round of recruits for the 2010 season.  It's a huge class with a huge upside.  I'm very excited about this incoming group.  I know coaches always say this is our "best class ever" but this really is an exceptional group by all accounts.

I think it's very rare when that happens.  Linfield's main states are Oregon, Washington, California, and Hawaii.  We do get players occasionally from Arizona, Idaho, Utah, Montana, Alaska, Nevada, and I think we've even had a player from Wyoming on the roster in the early 2000's.

Well...good for Pacific in getting a 9th game in this season.  As for Menlo...this won't be the last NWC team that will be dropping them like a bad habit.

Could you be referring to Jeremy Scott? He was a tall defensive end for those 2002-03 squads, made a ton of plays as I remember.

For those sort of interested, but not interested enough to have checked out d3baseball.com , Linfield annihilated Mass-Boston, 12-0, in the first round of the d3 World Series.

Not sure whether Linfield got two TDs but lack a kicker, or got 4 FGs but lack a QB!

A great looking class indeed.  And a 3.42 GPA, that's pretty impressive.  Any clarification or expansion on that stat as it has peaked my curiosity.  What have previous groups GPA's been?  What is the Linfield College average for incoming frosh?  In comparison to other campuses?  Not sure how accessible this info is, maybe someone from the "inside" can shed some light.....
