First of all the word AMAZINGGGGGGGG !!! is one my top 5 most overused and hated words ever.  
Cmon now coach, take your logger blinders off, drop down a pair and get real.  When they did your big (new coach intro)article in the Trib, they showed a photo of you on your (Pierce county donated turf practice field ) practice field  and your sub par venue in the background.  If it is sooo amazing you should have been on the 50 of your playing field  for the amazing photo op.  
Usually by mid year your field is nothing short of a mud bog-- the visitor stands are equal to what you would see at a Jr High tennis match.  Your scoreboard is right out of 1950.  
Oh and way to go, scheduling our Cats for homecoming !!  Another score of a whole bunch to not enough for the Cats.

No. Linfield is above average, in fact. Linfield ranks 150th of the nearly 450 schools in Division III in full-time undergraduate enrollment.

Geez...give the guy a break. What's is he supposed to say? Our field sucks and is the worst in the NWC? He is trying to rebuild a program and make it as attractive as possible. They have the right guy at the helm no doubt. Losing Coach Thomas is a big loss for Redlands.

I wish for you a time of relaxing with family, friends and enjoying what your Great State of Oregon has to offer.

I also wish you kept a journal of your experiences as a LINFIELD coach since mid August for the deep football run your guys had and for the gals winter conditioning until their National Title game.  I venture DIII coaches around the U.S.A. would be interested.

It's not like someone asked him a question about Baker Stadium.  He voluntarily led off that press release boasting about the "amazing venue" that is Baker Stadium.  That is just total bunk...sorry but that place has never had life and is just not a great venue.  Maybe he'll change that in his tenure but right now that statement is just a smoke job.

Now, Coach Thomas seems like a great hire by UPS and probably has a great career in front of him but I will give him a hard time when he makes reaching statements like calling Baker Stadium an amazing venue.  I guarantee you that any NWC coach that read the release chuckled to themselves.

Not to over share but since there is a poll on the sex of Wildcat14 I thought I'd give you a quick update.  We have to wait till week 22 so we have an appointment on July 2nd to find out the news.  I don't really care...just a healthy Wildcat14 and Mrs11 is all that I want and I'll be thrilled. 

On another side note...I did much better yesterday at the Dr. appointment when they drew blood from Mrs. 11., on the last visit I got a little light headed when they drew her blood.  It wasn't the needle going in or seeing the blood but it was the noise of the squirting blood hitting the test tube wall that almost made me pass out.  I just became a little sick just typing that out....
